What's everyone's beef with Doublemeat Palace?

I find it interesting that he's still bad even when he's being good. The chip forces his evil side to be dormant, his lack of soul does not allow for full repentance, but the good that was William remains in the shadows, wanting to come out.
He loves Buffy, but a momentary connection with Anya allowed a lustful shag to expose his enduring curse; he's still a vampire, living (Well, being dead, actually) for the animalistic moment.
What's you thought on this, Mer?

That seems about right. Oh and let's not forget when he ws first turned. He was EXACTLY the same except for the biting part. If it wasn't for Angel, he wouldn't be bad at all. Also, for some odd reason he's trying to keep an image. I'm not sure if this is relation of how William's not full of confidence or not. I miss the William part of Spike. He wasn't that bad. Granted Spike's a bit touchy...but you would be too if you were teased for half of your life.

That's why I learned martial arts (although I never let myself get bit).
I'm into seven now, and Spike has his soul. He gets more interesting all the time.
I just might have to pick up season five of Angel to get my Spike fix after this!
