Being of sound mind and only a few beers, Succatash and the House of Strangefinger hereby nominate 11th Hour to be the official Marketing Director and Fan Leader of FireflyFans.net.
If 11th Hour accepts this volunteer position, she will fulfill the following duties:
1. Oversee official Fireflyfans.net activities to promote Firefly/Serenity.
2. Be willing to listen and respond to Fireflyfans.net members, and to communicate decisions effectively.
3. Perform Public Relations duties on behalf of Fireflyfans.net.

Do we really need ONE person to do this? I'd prefer a council of equals. It's a power-hunger-stopper, and people on it could take breaks, but the council would still be present etc.
As a side note, this thread will stirr up some nasty hwai, and we can't vote anyone to be anything "of FFF.net". It's Haken's site. But I know what you mean.

This is an enormous request, a big job. But I hope 11th Hour gets the votes and takes the reigns, because then FFF will be in great hands.
She is perfect for this job. Whether she wants it or not - IT IS HER DESTINY!! I'm not joking, really. FFF needs a spokesperson, a fun fan planner. Fireflyfans.net needs 11th Hour.

What I am suggesting requires Haken's approval.
It's time for Fireflyfans.net to sponser our own FFF.net activities. 11th Hour should be the director and leader of FFF.net sponsored activities.
I'm talking about charity and promotional events, "sponsored by Fireflyfans.net" and I think 11th Hour is perfect for the job to lead the way, to keep fans active and spreading the word.
We all want more Firefly. Let's give FFF.net the recognition it deserves and let's ask 11th Hour to lead the official FFF.net marketing campaign.
