There once was a man named Jayne
Who from greed found it hard to abstain
He turned in simon and river
And felt fear down to his liver
When she said "I can kill you with my brain"
One summer.

One army of Browncoats.
And a bunch of Rings that make Shiny people do silly things!

There once was a Shepherd called Book,
The Abbey's kind Orders he took.
But River said "Scary"
when he got too hairy,
And Zoe just had to go look.
There was a big merc who caused pain
But he wept like a girl, it was plain,
when the mudders did riot
(though now he'll deny it)
for their hero - the man they called Jayne.
The engine room's where you might see
A girl by the name of Kaylee,
though Mal wants to face
those 'monkeys from space'
That messed up his Se-ren-i-ty.
The pilot we know and adore:
Hoban Washburne (just look at him soar)
But his colourful shirt
Makes my eyeballs just hurt
and I find I'm a bit dino-sore :)
Zoe is Wash's dear wife,
Followed Mal through the Browncoated life.
She'll rally the group
and she makes good wife soup,
but she'll kill with her pinky in strife.
Simon, also Doctor Tam,
stole his sister and froze her like ham.
How odd that this bloke
really can't take a joke
and don't even dare say Gorram.
River's quite cuckoo they say,
and Reavers who get in her way
end up on the floor
very dead - and what's more
she kills them while doing ballet.
Mal Reynolds went to a dance
and ended up dueling by chance
With Atherton Wing
(Over 'Nara, sure thing)
and now he's called Cap'n Tight Pants.
A Companion Lady by law
Inara is beautiful, sure,
but how she can yell
(Boy, Mal thinks it's swell
whenever he calls her a whore!)
Well Fox thought they'd cancel our show,
and the Browncoats all said "heavens no!"
Please get Joss on track
we'll hold til he's back
