Well - I haven't been HERE in AGES... (o.k., except lurking every now and then, fiending for Firefly news... :D)
BUT - I just had to post to say - IT CAME TODAY!!! WOOOOOOOOOOO-HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
My disks finally came! I've been on order w/Amazon.com since day one, and was SOO annoyed that Suncoast put out a preorder at a better price, but I didn't release my amazon order - and STILL people got theirs before me. :( But hey, water under the bridge - I got mine!!!! :D :D :D

Grr argh, I just got off the phone with UPS and there seems to be a problem with my amazon order so it's not getting here till tommorow at least. so impatient!!!
The UPS guy said there was some sort of delay in getting the package to them. Evil Amazon...How come things never go smooth?
oh well I guess I'll go keep myself occupied with my well worn tapes 'till they arrive

I've had my widescreen tv professionally calibrated, and this is some of the best picture quality on a dvd that I've ever seen. I never saw Firefly on TV, I watched all the episodes on my computer. This is a brand new experience, and now each episode seems like a mini-movie. This is great! Gotta pace myself though. :)

Bless the pointed little heads at Amazon and UPS. Mine came today, too. Price was no option in this case. And...since I missed a couple of episodes (circumstances beyond my control, etc.) and, as usual, there is less than squat on the box, I am off for an evening of fun!

For those lucky browncoats who already have the DVD, can you give us any details about the commentaries, explanation of the episode ordering, deleted scene descriptions, etc. in a "spoilers thread" to hold over us poor sods who are still waiting for amazon to ship our DVDs?

Grr!! Silly me! i had mine shipped home (don't ask!) because I wasn't sure how long I'd have to stick around at school. Turns out I wont be leaving until the 18th or the 19th at least! I'm trying to decide if it's worth having my mom send them to me here so i can interrupt my exams with firefly marathons.
