The Sereni-Tree, More Shopping, and Some Peril

On Commerce, at the Leighton Docks spaceport:
After investigating the Dagger, TheRealMe sits down in a chair in that ship’s lounge, and sighs. He keys his com-link to broadcast to the Sereni-treers. “Hello, this is Me. I’m still in the ship of Serenity's captors, the Dagger. I'm going to attempt to find Serenity with one of my dimensional portals.”
TheRealMe grabs the weapon he brought along, stands, and concentrates. He thinks about Serenity. Winged. Pregnant. Probably in distress, uncomfortable. He fixes that image in his mind and reaches out with his free hand. A spot of light appears.
Suddenly, a noise interrupts his concentration and the portal collapses. Someone is trying to enter this ship! TheRealMe hides in a closet in the Dagger’s lounge.

"Right!" Citizen exclaimed. "Can't wait any longer for the others." He turns too Mai.
"Let's get moving, I've got a track on Seryn and we don't want them getting too far away, oh and take this." He said handing over a small compact sub-machinegun. "You can't ever have enough weapons."

**jake7, upon hearing TWG's communication, realizes there will be no one left behind to defend the 'TREE, if she leaves.**
Soul, I'm sorry to do this, but it looks like I should stay behind to help defend the 'TREE in case of trouble. There will be no gunners left if both Jazaf and I leave.

SUMMARY:
Okay, there is still a lot of confusion, so I will try to do this again.
On the planet Garrison, Quincey has been abducted. It seems that her father has promised her in marriage to the son of the leader of a Chinese crime syndicate. Four of her captors have bound and gagged her, and are carrying her up stairs to the roof of a grand palace, where there presumably is a shuttle waiting to depart. Inside the palace, running up the same staircase, are Deuce, Jadehand, Wisp, N0Skills, and N0Skills’ tiger0 Shadow, who all plan to rescue Quincey. They just barely defeated an old martial arts master, and Jadehand sealed the way behind them with grenades to keep the master away. Jadehand has his shuttle, the Ocean Cloud, waiting at a hanger nearby if they ever get Quincey away from the palace. All of this is on Garrison. Nothing else of note is currently happening on Garrison.
On Garrison’s moon of Commerce, Serenity has ALSO been kidnapped. She is being held in a cell with an electrified floor by her arch-nemisis Heinz the scar-faced guy, who is watching her from behind a glass wall. Earlier, Heinz had turned on his three partners from the Dagger, and shocked them into unconsiousness. The three men were taken away somewhere.
Seryn has purposely gotten herself captured, and was taken to the same area near Serenity. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that Heinz cares about her, and is likely to execute her. Citzen and Mai are together on the Commerce City streets, trying to track down the homing beacon that Seryn swallowed.
ScorpionRegent and McQ the cyborg have taken the shuttle Admiral Nelson to Commerce, along with drunken passengers LightMeDark and Cozen. They land and are (I think) going to follow Seryn’s signal, too.
TheRealMe lands the shuttle Napoleon at the Leighton Docks starport near the Dagger, the mystery ship that we think is involved in Serenity’s kidnapping. TRM searches the ship and is about to make a dimensional portal to Serenity, but is interrupted by noises outside the ship. He hides inside.
Sparky the Robot is wandering the streets of Commerce City, abandoned by TRM.
Soul, Ath, Safe, Kelly, Needy, and perhaps others are staging a rescue mission and are about to depart from Sereni-Tree in Safe’s stolen dropship.
PsychicRiver is elsewhen in time talking to his future or past self.
Most everyone else is on the Sereni-Tree.

Safe appears from the back of the ISSCV and tosses Needy a holster containing a modified Berretta. “I’m not sure even your winning smile will diffuse this Needy, best be armed just in case.”
Safe slaps the close button on the door and walks up to the cockpit.
Ath looks up as Safe walks in. “She’s warmed up and ready to go.” He says as he hops into the co-pilots chair.
Safe nods appreciatively dropping into the pilot's chair, releases the docking clamps, and guides the ISSCV towards Commerce.
In flight they hear TRM

I'm trying to match the ships there to the sketchy data that ThatWeirdGirl picked up when the mystery ship jumped in system. About a dozen candidates so far. It's also possible that they didn't park here, but then their journey back would be longer. I'll stay here as a backup, to try to intercept them if they try to make for orbit."
Ath keys the com. “TRM we’re en-route. ETA 45 minutes.”
About 20 minutes from planet side TRM broadcasts again.

"Hello. I've found their ship. It matches ThatWeirdGirl's description, and its engine core shows recent use. It's called Dagger. They landed it within sight of where our own Nelson had been parked. They must have been tailing us. Seems like the work of pros.”
"Anyway, I over-rode their security and got in. Nobody home. It's engines aren't even online, so they aren't planning to leave any time soon. They aren't bringing Serenity here. There is another destination for her that they had in mind.
"Say, here is a recent note about some kind of payment expected from a man named 'Heinz'. Does that mean anything to anybody?"
Safe curses out loud.

Citizen puts his arm out stopping Mai. He holds a finger to his lips and backs them into a darkened doorway. Mai, the question forming on her lips, finally hears Citizen's reason for caution. A motley group of thugs and Alliance soldiers walk past.
Three armed men lead the group followed closely by two groups of two men dragging an unconscious man each, a tall thinish man and a shorter slightly heavier man. Citizen recognizes the thin man as the security officer. Mai catches his recognition and nods silently in agreement. The group is followed up by four men struggling to drag a third large man.
After they pass by, Citizen is torn. Do they follow his suspect or investigate the area to find where they came from. It can't be far as the men dragging the large man weren’t winded yet.

TheRealMe listens from his hiding spot as the outer hatch opens.
“Shoot ‘em, t’row ‘em in the ship and lock ‘er up. By the time someone realizes it’s been ‘ere too long, we’ll be done with this place and long gone. The pay ‘ad bett…..”
The last sentence is drowned out by the roar of an approaching dropship.

“I’ve pinpointed TRM’s signal to that ship” Ath shouts over the engine roar coming in through the open hatch that Soul currently leans out of.

Kelly rushes up at the last second and looks at Soul, sees the hardness in his eyes. There's pain there, but also resolution. She knows the feeling well.
"Care for one more? I was going to stay with the Tree, but now that Jake7 is staying, I think TWG will be fine. She's watching the girls for me."
Soul gives a barely perceptible nod and Kelly steps on the shuttle, slipping Narya around a slender finger.

Jennings shakes his head as he comes to. He looks around. His hands are tied and he lies on tarmac beside Grunt and Bear. Whatever hit them had to have hit the gorram hard for Bear to be out. He looks over at Grunt. The other man’s one eye is open.
“You took your time, sleepy head” Grunt hisses.
Jennings finally realizes that the white noise he attributed to his headache was in fact engines of a hovering dropship. Their captors all stood shielding their eyes from the wind looking up.
Not being one to just lay there, Jennings lashes out with his feet catching the closest captor behind the knees. The man’s arms windmill to keep his balance, bringing his gun up. Apparently, that was all the people in the dropship were waiting for. An arrow catches the off balance captor in the throat, capitalizing on his tenuous balance, pinning him to the ground. The man frantically claws at the arrow to no avail, his arms, finally falling limp.
The remaining 10 men scatter. Some take refuge under the Dagger, while others just crouch and open fire.
Grunt and Jennings scramble under the Dagger as well.
One of the captors yells out “You! Go get the guns from that ship on line!” The man indicated, slings his gun over his shoulder and scrambles through the Dagger’s hatch.

Soul drops from the ISSCV, falling the distance to the tarmac and landing in a roll. Bring up his bow, he fires an arrow through the shin of a retreating gunman. The man collapses to the ground in pain, and Soul hears a voice cry out.

If they get those guns online, this fight is gonna get a bit too messy.
