Login problems?

I've been getting reports that there's a login problem with a number of users, is everyone encountering this?

I'm having login problems. I can login, surf around and suddenly I'm offline agian. I hope that was something along the lines of what you meant :)

Have been on/off the board several hours today.
Some problems, yes, but I'm patient and try various routines.
Haven't failed totally. Yet.
Thought it was probably hordes and hordes of new 'coats showing up.

Haken, I'm having the same trouble as everyone else, but assumed like Bun that it is just the mob of new folks we have.
It manifests as a I'm logged in, no now I'm not kinda thing.
I'm patient too. Just hate to be away from home any amount of time at all.... is all.

yeah, when I go to 'reply' (including for this reply) I find that I'm not logged in (even though I was before I hit 'reply')
it has just been happening for the last few days...
or at least I've just noticed it in the last few days....

The majority of the times I've heard of this, and seen it myself, is in the chat room. If I'm logged in here, then hit chat, when I post there I'm 'Guest'. A lot of this happening. People have been needing to log in several times before getting their name to 'stick'. Hope that helps you track the problem.

I WAS having problems with log in. I would show as logged in on the home page and then as GUEST in chat. Or, vice versa.

I fixed these problems (and others) by deleting (eating?) all fireflyfans.net cookies and cached items. I have not had any problems since.

From time to time, it just forgets my login. Never regularly, so it's not a "timeout".
Over the past couple days, I had to login, which redirected me to the login screen, and after that second time, I was logged in.
Later, I had to try to login somewhere between 1/2 and 1 dozen times before I was actually logged in.
Also, for a little bit, while I was logged in, the "My Firefly" link redirected me back to the front-page.
Weird things have been happening lately.

Yup I got the same thing. I'll be logged in for awhile...next thing I know I'm humped.
