Well, up here we get Space, which at least shows mostly sci-fi, if re-runs. They were running Quantum Leap and Roswell for a while, and may still be, plus Buffy, Angel, and all the various incarnations of Star Trek. I quite love Space, really.

Seeing that line-up, I'm happy with the re-runs. And, that dead lawyer show? Not only is it ridiculous, I'm sure most lawyers would consider the concept offensive ...

And Suture Girl. Good grief.

Maybe Space could pick up FF in rerun ... a girl can only dream ...

yeah! what you said! i also remember when they ran classic sci-fi as a Monday feature. there was a title, a format, the whole nine yards. now they're using Monday to rerun Stargate SG-1 from the beginning--not a bad thing, as i actually like SG-1--but overkill in the long run. the only thing i can think that came along to change it is a turnover in management, but that's only a theory.

i tend to run on a lot of theories...

You guys are being too harsh with some of the ideas. It's how this will be done that will make it bad, not what will be done.

then what? Do they get together and go bar hopping? Maybe a little demonic kareoke?

How about he wanders around looking for possessed souls because he's trying to create a Legion of the possessed against god (mass murderer, pro-segregationist, racist, and all around mean guy.) The perspective is new, the textual evidence comes from the bible its self (a harsh reading but it's there) and the concept of a rebellion against an omnipotent being would be an area to explore.

Stargate Atlantis, aside from the distant universe bit (most likely meant distant galaxy Sam would slap anyone who tried to say distant universe) is there anything out of the ordinary Stargate here? Admittedly it would have trouble distinguishing it's self but there is room for goodness. (It would be hard to maintain the feel without a Jack rip-off though, and a rip-off would be cheep)

The Evil One, ever heard of Gendel? If that could be good why not this?

Once again it is the fact that they will be made to be crap, not that the ideas are crap, that is bad.

Oh by the way for anyone who's wondering what Legion is going to be about here's the story. I was checking out some J.Michael Straczinski posts and he was in negotiations with Sci-Fi to do a possible series but at the last minute said his idea was "to science fictiony" and decided to go with a show about ........wait for it.......SPACE VAMPIRES!!!(oooh scary)Yes a invasion of earth by SPACE VAMPIRES!!!who are from outerspace no less all I can say is Whoopi!

oops I guess it wasn't Legion I was thinking of after all but seeing what sci-fi has lined up for us it wouldn't suprise me if we didn't yet get to see space vampires.

Why the hell can't sci-fi get it's act together if they can't bring us any new good programing they should stick with the classics.

Have you guys seen a film called Lifeforce it is based on a book called Space Vampires. I wonder if this series is based on that movie or book. The film was flawed but had an interesting concept.

My thoughts on some of the upcoming projects:

Stargate Atlantis:
While SG1 has unfortunately taken a hit in quality during season 7, I'm hoping that its simply a result of the creative team focusing more on Atlantis, and not getting creative burnout. Looking forward to seeing how it is-----even moreso if Adam Baldwin is a regular or recurring character.

Tripping the Rift:
This has the potential to be funny, but more likely, it'll end up being stupid.

Battlestar 2004:
We'll see. The mini was good, but not great. It could go either way.

Anything else:
I'm not aware of it, so it couldn't be good....
