(ooc-yup, happy birthday April!)
Attempting not to inhale the cake as she tries to stop laughing, She sits up and waves to Mai LMD and Serenity as they approach, still giggling occaisionally and not quite trusting her self to speak.
Inspired by the aromas floating off SR's plate the hops up and buys a selection of dumplings and buns from a nearby vendor, then sits and pushes the plate to the middle of the table for the others to help themselves.
"so what have you bought? Did you have fun? Oh thats so pretty, and wow, so cute, are they for callmejunior? So wee, god, how small?
hmmm, Do you think Shadow and Ghost need new clothes? I mean I can make them stuff, but not everything, shoes and the like. We'll get them some of those pretty silk slippers from a stall I went past.
But I suppose the next few hours are devoted to one thing, and one thing alone. Fabric!"
She beams and wriggles exctedly, then turns to SR.
"I don't know if you are bothered about coming with us, but at some point you will need to come and forcibly remove us.
It will be necessary, I can never leave those places unaided, so...
"Theres a great bar down the way, bunch of shops beyond that you might like, take LMD and let him recover with a whiskey?"
Turns to the girls again.
*squeeeee!*

FozzieWash, You know what I always say: sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug!
KermieMal, I never Know what the heck you're talking about.
FozzieWash, Hey, look! They're sending us free lumber!

*As PR walked across the grass, a thought suddenly came to him.* Wait, this isn't right.
*PR walked over to the young man, who turned around and pulled exactly the same face as PR did. This was no surprise however, as they were the same person.*
*Both PR's spoke in unison;*
What are you doing here?

"Two by two, hands of blue."
"We'll take care of each other. I'll knit!"
"I swallowed a bug."

Citizen sidled into an old rough looking bar and took up a table in the corner. The man already sitting there looked at him viciously, Citizen answering with a smile.
"I understand you're a man who knows how to get things." He said. The man scowled.
"Then you understand wrong, don'tch'ya." He replied standing to leave. Citizen caught his arm and threw him back into his chair, while opening his jacket with his free hand to remove a sack, letting the man see part of the small arsenal he was carrying as he did so.
"I'm not often wrong, fella." He said opening the sack just a touch so the man could see the contents, which just happened to be full of enough money, precious stones and metals to finance a small revolution.
This, funnily enough was more or less exactly what it was for.
The man eyed him curiously for a second before replying.
"Yeah, I can get things." He said.

Squee! indeed! Let's go!
*The women head towards the fabric shop, stopping at the little shoe stand on the way, while SR leads a still-dazed LMD towards a nearby bar.*
I've bought both girls some play clothes and necessities. Shoes and whatnot. Sensible things they can wear and use everyday, besides the toys and pretties. I sent those back to the hangar already. But, I think it would be fabulous if you'd make a few special outfits for them. And, I had an idea! I'm thinking of asking them to by my flower girls! Wouldn't that be darling? Little ruffly dresses with little sashes. Flower garlands in their hair, little baskets of rose petals!
So, which slippers do you think Shadow would like best? These yellow ones with the roses, or these blue ones?

The door creaked open on rusty hinges and Citizen was ushered into a small grimy derelict warehouse. He was greeted by a large man with a vaguely Hatton colony (eastern european) accent.
"I understand you are interested in buying weapons, yes?" He said.
"That's what I like about Hattoner's." Citizen smilled. "Always straight down to buisness, no messing around." The man eyed him dubiously.
"When selling weapons one doesn't wish to hang around for long." He replied. "So I understand you wish to buy some weapons, yes?"
"Yes indeed, I've got a list." He said rummaging in his pockets he pulled out a screwed up peice of paper and handed it over. "Just the usual sort of fair, type T12 Sal Assualt Rifles, Mass Driver Auto cannons, Rail Cannons, Particle Beam Flailings and the ammunition, oh and free delivery, coordinates on the bottom." The man gazed down the list, occasionally looking up at Citizen.
"You are planning a revolution I am think yes?" He said finally. "Revolutions are bad for buisness, brings unwanted attention."
"Don't pull that one." Citizen said. "Don't tell me you're the only Arms dealer in the 'Verse that thinks wars aren't good for buisness, you sell arms to both sides and you get to set the prices." He paused scanning the room quickly. "You'll make a fortune."
"Maybe so." The man replied. "Will take time, these are not common weapons."
"And I'm a Monkeys Uncle!" Citizen started.
"Your family relationships do not concern me." The man interrupted.
Citizen stared at him for a beat. "No, erm, you see, nevermind. Just get those supplies to me by the end of the day." The man shook his head.
"Cannot be done. Supplies are not that plentiful" He said.
"Get them to me by the end of the day and there'll be an extra ten percent on top for you." Citizen replied.
"Thirty."
"Twenty."
"Twenty Five."
"Done!" Citizen said grasping the man's hand with a smile. He pulled it back sharply.
"Payment up front."
"Payment on delivery."
"It is non-negtionable"
"That's my line." Citizen replied. "I don't get these weapons from you, I give my money too someone else. True I'm working on a time frame, but I give my money too you I may never see it or the weapons again."
"Are you saying I am not trustworthy?" The man growled.
"Yes, not many people insist on payment up front, not unless they suspect that they won't recieve it otherwise. You know I can pay so either you aren't planning on making good on your end, or you think your merchendise isn't up to it."
"I'm thinking I should just leave a corpse of you and take your money."
Citizen looked around the room at the ten or so assorted thugs. "I wouldn't, not unless you've got a small army out back." He said. "I admit I'm a little tired at the moment, but I'm all manner of pissed off at some of the turns my life has taken recently, and dropping you and your girlfriends here would be just the tonic I'm thinking." He knocked back his jacket again revealing some of the small arsenal he had at his disposal. "You can either walk out of here and prepare my merchendise, or you can be carried out of here in lots of little bags, because to be honest right now I just don't give a cào."
"Then it looks like I have little choice." The man grined.
Citizen let the door bang shut behind him and dusted down his jacket. He drew a deep breath and glanced back at the door. "Looks like I'll be looking for some other contacts." He said to himself.

Fine just get me some raw silk, denim, canvas, heavy wale corduroy, and some sort of black Ramie. I'll get trim, buttons, velcro, webbing, buckles, zippers and other assorted findings myself later.

SR intercedes.
"Forgive my overenthusiastic friend. Just make it one bottle and two glasses."
SR turns to LMD.
"Drunk strangers in a new town wind up getting rolled and then thrown in the drunk tank. We have to pace our selves, besides I still need to shop for gifts and finished goods and brik a brak, and leather. Besides I got enough materials I can rig up a still in engineering as soon as we get back, so you can have whiskey any day and gin on thursdays. That reminds me, we need to get rye, wheat, potatoes, corn and yeast. I want to make beer and sourdough and yogurt. A man needs his culture. Have you ever had sourdough pancakes first thing in the morning? It sends the hangover packing. Do you think the crew would mind if I got us a milk cow?"

/me nods at SR
Your points are well taken. And the milk cow is a good idea. I'm the animal handler, so perhaps I'll have some say in it. I'd like to find one with a good personality, though. Many tend to be rather annoying. Say the darndest things...
Perhaps I'll try the sourdough pancakes tomorrow
