I realise that many people haven't even seen this episode yet, but assuming someone who's able to do translations has also seen it, could they provide the appropriate translations?
In particular, I'd love to have the translation of what the presenter of the shadowplay is saying...
Thanks in advance.

If you check out the script for "Heart of Gold" available at this site you'll find exactly what was said during the shadowplay. It's right at the end.
ETA: Hmmm, I can't remember if the script is around here so here's the bit -
Addendum (Theater Show)
A CIRCULAR SHADOW representing Earth-That-Was fills the frame.
NARRATOR
(Chinese)
the Earth up. Barren, she had
little left to offer them.>
Silhouetted shapes appear. SPACESHIPS. They radiate out from the shadow sphere, scatter in all directions. Leave it behind.
NARRATOR
(continuing)
< Swollen of her, they left. And
for the first time since the Great
Burn that birthed her, she was
alone. >
The ships are gone now. A wisp of SMOKE wafts off the sphere, creates a snake of shadow.
NARRATOR
(continuing)
< The Earth cried, and terrible
were her tears. Acid and caustic,
the spawn of the tribes' rape.
They flowed a century. >
The smoke INTENSIFIES, becomes shadowy FLAME.
NARRATOR
(continuing)
< The fire that finally came did so
as a blessing. >
The sphere SMOLDERS now, bits of it breaking up and disintegrating under the intense heat.

Thanks for pointing out that that's in the script, but the action described doesn't exactly match what's in the scene itself--one can see the smoke appear, but you don't see the Earth breaking up...at the end of the scene, one sees a bunch of smaller orbs rising, which I took to mean "a whole galaxy of Earths," if you will.

Besides, a lot of the threads in this section have to do with the rather...idiosyncratic...translations of what the scriptwriters intended to have the characters saying, so it would be nice to know how closely that dialogue matches (or doesn't) the script's intent.
On a similar note, I'd still like someone knowledgeable to tackle the other Chinese dialogue in the episode....
