I did a search for this topic in the archives and came up with nothing, so I will flatter myself that I came up with a new topic!

What are your favourite outtakes from the series? What are the outtakes that continually make you burst out in hysterical laughter and wish fervently that you could have worked with these brilliant, hilarious actors?

First of all, I have to say that almost ANY blooper involving Nathan Fillion is awesome. The man has SUCH a wicked sense of humor that he must be a joy to work with. He is incapable of making a "boring" outtake; he even jazzes up everyone else's mistakes!

Almost all of my favourite bloopers are from the BDM, and in a very VERY vague order (seriously, they're almost all on par with each other) they are:

1) The absolutely brilliant space battle sequence where Mal is "a back spaceship driver" and screams "GET OUTTA THE WAAAAAAAY!!!" I wish that they had been able to justify leaving that scene in somehow.
2) The infamous "hood ornament" conversation. You know the one.
3) "TRAAAAAAAAAP!!!!!"
4) "I've seen so much death..." followed by an impromptu dance session
5) "We have to... shit. We have to shit, sir!"

From the series, there are a lot, but the only ones I can remember are the mustache ones and the one in the extended blooper reel where they did a spoof of Tracey's recorded message, panning around to the entire crew only to have Mal keep shifting and looking dramatic.

Where can I get a hold of the extended blooper reel?

My favorite is the Hood ornament conversation, the look on Jewels face is priceless!

I love in the movie, when they get to the "so you all were listenin' I take it" scene, when Mal says trap, Nathans eyes are so full of humor, you know he is remembering the TRAAAAAAAAAAP outtake.

) and look up "firefly bloopers", it should be the first on the list. It goes on for a good long while (more than on the DVD so keep watching), and it's very amusing. ^^

I noticed when rewatching the BDM yesterday that when Mal is fighting with Simon about River after she was triggered, and says MY SHIP!!!, Jewel has an expression on her face that looks like she's trying to emote being taken aback and upset at the fighting, while also trying not-quite-successfully to suppress a mischievous grin...

All the outtakes are great Serenity and Firefly ones but the one for me is the Serenity one when Wash is flying through avoiding Reaver ships and Alliance ones and all you can hear is Nathan shouting down his and then they all start and some of the stuff Nathan says are very funny and then by the end Alan gets up out of his chairs and shouts "Do you wana drive this ship" and then as he leaves he shouts "I will be in my bunk" Thought that bit was so funny.

Ok, aside of the "hood ornament" (which I still have to watch more than once when watching the bloopers) my favorite is from Wash..

"They just go out sending raver..reaver breeding parties"

I know with the closed captioned it read "reading parties" but that is not how it sounds to me.
