I am currently in the home stretch of a 2 year teaching stint in Japan, a country which has not yet grasped the wonder that is Joss Whedon. Silly people.

I never saw Firefly or Serenity on their first run, but I had always MEANT to based on the glowing reviews, and finally when I was home in Canada for Christmas, I decided to pick up both the box set and the Serenity DVD. I popped them in with an open mind.

WOW. JUST WOW.

I've only see them once, but man, that's enough. I love this series to bits, and can't wait to return to Canada and join the nearest Browncoats. Firefly for life!

Other favourite hobbies/fandoms: Final Fantasy VII, anime in general, various video games, surfing the net, Jane Austen, Shakespeare, a bit of everything really
