I've said it before and I'll say it again.

I always thought VOYAGER was underrated. People rag on it and say how it was the weakest of all the TREK spin-offs, but I actually found it to be the one that shared many spiritual similarities to the original series.

Once I have the money, I'm gonna get seasons 4-7, which are arguably the best of the series.

Voyager did a great job of exploring 'the Enemy' in the Borg eps, and how much they could be us. Very difficult to address, yet they did it well. I actually liked Voyager better, on most levels, than DS9.

I loved Voyager when it was on. It came on at just the right time for me -- when I was about eight or nine, and really psyched to have a girl captain to look up to. It;s no Firefly, but it will always carry a place in my heart.

My favoties episodes, I think, are still "The Kill Gaming 1 & 2", where hirogens shoot people in the holodeck. I was a 7of9 fan (her character had so much potential -- too bad they didn't really know what to do with her; I guess they made up for it when the doctor had a crush on her though -- the two best acted characters in the series having lots of scenes togher, hell yes), so I liked Dark Frontier a lot, especially lil' seven. She was just adorable.

Other great episodes (the sad thing is, I knew almost all the episode titles off the top of my head, I am such a dork):
Scorpian 1 & 2
One
30 Days
Workforce 1 & 2
Equinox 1 & 2
Relativity (highly unlikely, not everyone liked it, it screwed horribly with the timeline, but I thought it was great fun to watch)
Coda
Favorite Son
Before and After
Infinate Regress
Good Shepherd

Okay, I think I'm done revealing my complete and utter dorkiness... for now.

I take it you have the entire series on tape or DVD?

Just curious, did you like DS9 as much?
I followed it, enjoyed it mostly, but the series finale left me cold and angry.

No, I never watched much DS9. I saw one episode I liked about the shape-shifter dude, but every other time I caught it the episodes were very political and I would have no clue what was going on, so I got frustrated with it and vowed to hate it for life (what can I say, I was like, eleven, it seemed like the right thing to do at the time). I'm told that if I rent it and see it straight through, that it is the best, most mature series. To this, I say, hmm... when captain sisko dons the Janeway bun of power, perhaps I'll be interested (okay, so maybe I haven't grown up all that much... sue me).

I just can't see how I'd like a star trek show where they stay in one place and don't explore things. It seems anti-star trek.

DS9 had a fantastic premiere, and some truly good eps, but a main character died for no good reason (they wanted off the series), and the ending sucked.
That's a long wait for a train don't come, IMHO.

But Nana was cool Chrisisall
