What do you all think of the season 2 finale? Heck of a place to leave us hanging..

I just cant believe the Adama's would let their Battlestars crew compliment be so compromised... sure let the rest of the fleet settle on the planet but the military guys would surely maintain combat rediness.
Not sure I like the one year jump in the story.. feels like we missed too much.
But DAMN I love that show!

I'm actually really excited about it, especially after listening to the poscast. I think that they will handle the change well. If they don't though, well, honestly -- I would rather them do something bold badly than watch the stories decline in quality as they do the same old thing worse and worse and worse, like so many other shows.
What I can't believe is...

Adam's mustache! Someone needs to shave that thing off!
And when they are done doing that, they can cut Starbucks hair and throw Lee in the gym. Fat Lee is funny, but not so good for the eye candy.
Tyrol & Cally! Finally. She carried such a torch... and she's so sweet. I was really happy with that development.
I loved Baltar crying when he saw his Six again in the... flesh, I guess.
I can't wait for a Laura/Adama reunion. They are my favorite "I want to see them in scenes together because they are both awesome beyond belief and I honest don't care whether that means that they are friends (though this is the best, especially when Laura laughs), enemies, lovers... whatever" couple in the 'verse.
I also enjoyed Brother Cattle. I really enjoy all the cylon characters, but his model definately has the best reaction to getting caught. :-)
So say... I was happy.

Do you think it was stolen or in there on purpose

No it wasnt stolen... It was the previous owner ( the one before Mal ) gettin the hell outta dodge! lol
Saying that God authored confusion by creating Lucifer is like saying my sniper rifle goes out all by itself and shoots people 2 miles away so I dont get into trouble.

Without any JW on TV, BSG is the only thing that's "must see" to me. My only concern with the direction they are going is that it will turn in to a flashback fest alla "Lost". That would just suck!
That said, I also admire the writers/producers willingness to take big chances and will reward them with my viewership even if they do end up sucking for a while. I believe they have the talent to bring it back around. (Kinda like season 4 of Angel moving into season 5.
)
Now if they could only get in some of the funny - that's what I miss most with the JW drought on television. Veronica Mars is pretty good but just not as compelling for me...
(sigh) Come back to the small screen, JW!

It was great that they came up with a end of season episode you couldn't see coming.
Rollon October
You have to love Scifi, they even have a feature of Nathan on their website atm.

I liked it for the most part with a couple of exceptions:

I am not sure about the 1 year leap in time. Sure who wants to watch some boring episodes of the colonists setting up tent cities, but come on, surely there were stories to tell, character development to cover, relationships to build on. Maybe a leap of a month or two here or there, but a whole year?
I like Adama's mustache.
Fat Lee? What the heck is that about? He always seemed to be big on fitness & working out. I guess it is supposed to be another indicator of how lax the Colonial military has become with a year of nothing to do, but it seems he would have time to hit the gym.
Why would Adama let the battlestars get so depleted on crew that he can't launch a CAP or even get his ships to a combat ready status in a reasonable amount of time. Why even fly a defense fleet if they can't defend?
I did love Starbuck's new look and her line "Same thing we always do. We fight them 'til we can't anymore."
Of course the worst part is we have to wait until October now for new episodes. Ugh!

It was good stuff. Did not see that ending coming. Sucks that we've got to wait until October, but it begs the question of what will be occupying the 10 p.m. slot when the Stargates return in July? Hmm...I could surmise, but I won't get my hopes up...
