How to Adict your friends, family to Firefly?

Jockeyock,

It's great that you're using your art to promote Firefly. Welcome to the mighty Browncoat Army.

You asked what different people are doing to recruit. Well, we're doing the same thing you are: We're telling people in any way we can!

I'm lucky in that my work as a professional musician has allowed me to recruit lots of people: fellow performers, other musicians, and a whole bunch of my band's fans. (We call 'em BedHeads.) But all of us can recruit. Even if you're shy and have no friends, there are ways to spread the word.

There a couple of sites you should check out. One is www.BrowncoatsRiseAgain.com. It has lots of suggestions for recruiting people and spreading the Signal.

Another is http://the11thhour.home.att.net It features original posters that are free for download. Plaster them all over your campus. Make them into iron-ons, and you can wear your advertising everywhere you go.

I understand how you feel, but this part made me feel a little weird. No one here is whispering. We all recruit everyone we can. I think what jockockeyock is doing is wonderful. We need everyones energy to keep this alive and thriving.

Can I remind everyone it's a TV show? I mean, yes, do everything you can, in your spare time with your spare money. Most of us have actual lives, too, though much less interesting than our BDH's.

Is there any sanity on this thread? I'm really stretching to see what any of the last four posts had to do with eachother... Wait, maybe if I think about it this way.... NO!!! That hurt way too much.
Anyone enlighten me on what "con." means?
