How to Adict your friends, family to Firefly?

This is a long post but i beg plead beseach you To NOT LOOK AWAY!!!!!!!!!!
I my self am a new recruit to the devote Browncoat ranks. I watched the movie Serenity and fell in love it at first sight. Then I heard that it was based off of Firefly the TV series. I instantly sought out a copy of Firefly at the nearest Hollywood Video but I had to wait months before the series was available…. They only had one copy of each disc. So last month in February I got my chance to rent out all the discs. I was so ecstatic that I cried. I had none stop viewing of Firefly episodes. When I found out that Objects in Space was the last Episode MY HEART SKIPPED A BEAT. I fell into a deep depressed state of mind. I could not sleep or talk or paint or even write…. My passion of writing died like my hopes for the best TV series I had ever witnessed had been cancelled. I felt empty then I noticed that I was not the only one who was in grieving over Firefly… my friend too was a fan might it have been blindly in front of my face the entire time. I then made it my mission my agenda to introduce Firefly to my friends and peers. They have to know….
So far in this past week I have brain washed my best friend into loving the show. I lent her my copy of Firefly disc one. She the next day came crying to me to barrow the next disc.
I have intentionally made all my art projects for the reminder of my school year are Firefly based. My Essays for Mythology have Firefly references. I even mentioned in astronomy that Firefly had gotten the Space HAS NO SOUND thing rite and that SPACE IS A VACUME. I constantly in SciFi class mention Firefly comparing it to the other books and series that we study in class. In U.S. history for my presentation on Civil war and pre civil war unit I mentioned more references to Firefly.
Another of my Friends saw that I was drawing Simon in class he was instantly interested in the origin of my image so I told him the other day about Firefly. He bought Firefly over Amizon.com and he bought the graphic novel.
At our school in our LRC I put a suggestion for the Library to start Carrying graphic novels and I even donated My Firefly copy to start the collection.
I myself have thought about selling my Charcoal Darwing of Simon and River peaceful reunion to a critic for 300$ and I am planning to donate the money to help revive Firefly. (here is the rough format of the picture i did)

I can not and Will not stand By and let this show Die as it is now as though the cancer that is bias minds have diseased it with their oppositions. The movie was great but it only ignited a Violent Raging Rampant Reaver like fire in our hearts for more, such torture we endure only to be thwarted my money.
No Money can not and will not stop me. Nor should it stop any Browncoat. We need to tell our friends and family and peers, screw political correctness and talk out… silence never helped anyone… so what will you do to Recruit you Peers Will you do more than whisper? What is done through officials is not enough. People need to show I mean scream to the mountains of sorrow if need be that we can not let Firefly slip through our fingers our culture our generation like water in cupped hands or like sand in an hour glass.
How will you send out word or how have you Shouted for more?

That's a charcoal drawing? It looks like a photograph! Holy moly, that's impressive.
Dude.
You got artistic skills, perservence, and freinds smart enough to love Firefly. Just be more careful when writing and you alone can resurrect Firefly.

omg ok that is jocks format of the pic she doing....
man i was told the story in person that the citic for our school art shows is asking to buy her charcoal drawing "simon and river peaceful reunion" and well before she has it finished the critic said she said she'll pay $300 for the charcoal drawing....
she even says she going to dedicate her book the kings assassins to Joss and everyone!!!!! who made firefly and serenity..
she is in very high likelyness to give her prosedings to help reserect Firefly....
and if u haven't bought the dvd boxset you have to it is worth you pittingsfull of $20.00.....

Joss we want to let him know how much he has inspired her to draw more Exquisitely and have more passion in her words... and how FIREFLY has changed her into a more Compassionate

also her Grammer has very much so improved
drastically....

No Natti is my little sister....
I am the older sister.
we only have one enternet cord hooked up... and only have one computer to use.
well just sos you know i am a middle child of 5 children and Natti is the youngest.
Sorry if she coppies me alot, I was the one who introduced her to Firefly and she is Addicted to the movie. She falls asleep watching it.
Now I am waundering what have you done to spread the fame and well being of Firefly?

Aha, I was just wondering. You guys have very similar habits in writing, but the tone of the different posts were different. And I noticed the two screennames were registered within minutes of each other.
Anyways, what have I done to spread the word? I dragged several of my college buds to see Serenity, which has prompted several copies of both the movie and the series being bought. One of those buds now tends to say "shiny" a lot.
Other than that, not much. I'm woefully inadequete in the conversion department.

I'm glad that you have found the joy that we all know in Firefly. Please realize that we have all done all we can to promote this, so please don't post comments that imply that we have been sitting on our asses. This site and others wouldn't be here if there were not dedicated fans back at the beginning. We are your friends here and know exactly how you feel. We all went through it. In time you will be able to feel the love and breath at the same time.
