Chrisisall,

I usually agree with you but here I must take exception:

Bring it, you clumbsy Battlestar worshipers Chrisisal

In my best Stewie Griffin voice: "Garbage scow?! How dare you! I should find something to strike you with!"

Oh, I may not look like one, but I still smell like a troll, believe you me...

It kind of comes down to the classic "Which came first: the viper or the battlestar" riddle. Without the battlestar, the vipers would have no base of operations. But without the vipers, the battlestar would have no range of operations. Hmmmm, tough one....

On closer examination, we see that I am in fact right. No doubt at all. Yep!

You will be blasted from the stars like so many impotent Firefly-class garbage scows.

Cisall, I think you're on to something here! Maybe the Firefly class are for garbage haulin'. That explains the duel main doors on the "cargo" deck, with the outer pair having those big hydraulic rams. It explains the cargo being on the bottom of the ship, just perfect for skimming junk off of a landfill. The catwalks over the "cargo" deck, because you wouldn't want to walk through that stuff. Come to think of it, I've always been interested in garbage trucks since I was a little tike! It all makes sense now.

I see the workings of an excellent episode here

Kaylee: Don't you think you should rephrase that?
Cisall: You're right, I should, I didn't mean to say Serenity should be hauling garbage, I meant to say it should be hauled away as garbage!
Cisall: *evil laugh*

*cue barfight scene as Kaylee punches Cisall out*

Brilliant, we could throw in these furry little balls of...fur, and something about aliens trying to take over some planet named after Sherman by poisoning wheat!

Man, how do I come up with this stuff?

Where's the KABOOM?! There was supposed to be an earth-shattering kaboom! *sigh* Delays...delays...

I quite like the New Battlestar Galactica.

It came as a massive shock the first time I heard Irish music playing on the show. You wouldn’t think they would mesh. But some how it works.

Who do you suppose is in there?

I try to avoid comparing Firefly to other SciFi...it's so unique.

But the new BSG rocks! It's the best show on the tube right now. And don't EVEN try to compare it to the old campy, 70's BSG. The new one has frakkin redefined and reimagined what BSG should be.

Mal (to Kaylee):
You mean to say, you punched Cisall because he called Serenity a garbage scow, and not because he called me a bobbly-head doll wrangler?

Kaylee:
I mean to say.

Mal(out take-like):
TRAP!!!!

I think we're close to getting kicked off this site here...
