All his foibles aside, I find Mal heroic. I haven't seen a main character on any show in ages who has that kind of brass. Doubtful I will again. To me, it's no wonder the show got deep-sixed.

The "new" Baltar is a superb actor. No doubt about it. I just hate the way his character is written. I also can't get past the fact that he looks like A. Siddiq (the guy who played Doctor Julian Bashir on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine). The resemblance is uncanny. And both were written to be equally meek.

Awsome in the original series, awsome in the new one. Everything else is just the felgercarb in between shots of the most perfect one-man space fighter ever designed.

I feel like I'm at a very 3rd rate tent revival of new-BSG fanboiz/galz.

You all find someone who disagrees with your conventional (and predictable views)... you don't debate... you just attack.

And you attack, and you attack, and you attack.

Lemme summarize...

I'm "repetitive" (as storymark would put it) (I'd love to hear him give a singular concrete example of me repeating myself, but hey... why bother?)

I'd like to think the only thing repetitive in my line of thinking is my hatred of the new show.

But nah... I'm just a broken record who repeats the fuck out of myself. Anyone, and I mean ANYONE, care to show me a single example of repetition in my posts? ...ya once or twice I reiterated what I'd already said IN RESPONSE to a direct question in this same thread (for idiots who didn't get it the first time)...

but please show me where I'm repeating myself. You can't (cuz I don't).

I call people names. Odd... the only people I call names are the public figures who make this crappy show.

Yet, fanboiz/galz call me names, and when I call them names back, they say "Oh hey wait hey now stop that c'mon no need for namecalling..." ~ even though they struck first. Of course, they deny it (even though it is simply disproven by going back and re-reading this same fuckin thread).

But hey.... people believe what they want to believe... they rise up and defend idiots like this because they haven't read this entire thread.

They just wanna chime in with their opinion... fuck the facts, it's all about being a mindless fanboi/gal of the show.

It's a good show. Serenity is in the back ground in the mini series & in the extras they say almost the same thing as Joss about the way it was filmed.

The new BSG is very good and worth your time. The second season has had a few stumbles but I'm sticking with it and hoping these were just experiments that didn't go well. (I like a show that takes chances even if they don't always pan out.)

The missing element compared to FF is the funny, although I've noticed a (very) few moments in the last few episodes.

Overall, this is the best SF on TV right now.

And you overlook the most important aspect of the shows, the glorious Viper.
You're not a fan of the original series, or you'd know this. You probably don't even have a plastic modle kit of the Viper (w/home made cockpit-not included) like I do, do you?
