As I'm new to the Fireflyfans.net 'verse, I'm likely asking a question easy to find: what is Jayne's home planet called? Just turn me about and point me in the right direction and I'll sail from there. Thanks!

I don't believe it's ever been stated what planet Jayne is from. In fact I think we only really know about Mal (Shadow), Inara (Sihnon), and the Tams (Osiris).

Edit: I see you said you were new here. Have you been formally greeted yet? If not look around for FollowMal who dispenses the browncoats we all wear.

Welcome, ArtemisPrime! It's always nice to have another Browncoat about.

I'm sure FollowMal will find you soon enough. She's pretty good about that, and about keeping plenty of the brown coats in stock -- always in the right size! I don't know how she does it.

You can probably expect all manner of food offerings before long, too.

In the official novelisation of the screenplay, it says Jayne comes from a planet called Caliban (a flashback to the day Jayne met Mal & Zoe down the barrel of his gun - from the Out of Gas episode of Firefly).

Just get your hands on the novel - you'll find it in there!!
