Firefly DVDs Delayed!!!

I truly hope that the DVDs are not seriously delayed. I have been looking forward to the release for months, and had hoped to have them in time for Christmas as gifts.
If they are delayed past XMas, this is for the people behind the delay......

Am I overly cynical in thinking the delay might be because they want to hike the price? I remember when the pre-order stuff went up at Amazon, and I thought "huh, if they know that the demand is really high among the die-hards (who will buy no matter what), couldn't they just charge whatever they want and laugh all the way to the bank as we desperately paid up?"
Only the fact that Buffy DVDs are being delayed also makes me think this might not be true...
