Where I'm from, a Coke is a Coke and a Pepsi is a Pepsi. Generically, they are "cold drinks". As in "You wanna cold drink?" "Yeah". "What kind?" If you say Coke you will get Coca-Cola.

Niska drinks Spsnapple, by the way (just to keep the thread related to the subject line).

Me neither, but Mr. Grizwald informs me it is excellent for putting out car engine fires. His van overheated in the Mojave once and he used most of a cooler full of Snapple to cool it down.

He wrote Snapple a letter telling them about this useful tip, but for some reason they never offered to use the idea in a commercial.

Cute! (I speak a little German; try not to faint). Translates to this, right?

"God cannot protect you from me, because I am not angry/evil."

One for the books!

I saw Niska on a rerun of the King of Queens the other night!

He played the owner of a shoe store who had been in WWII. Carrie's Dad goes into this store and ends up befriending him to a degree (but later dislikes him, I think. My viewing was interrupted by a phone call, so I don't have full details).

It was quite weird to hear him talk w/out an accent, despite the fact that I've seen him on Seinfeld as well (Pinsky of the Pinsky file) and he didn't use an accent.

BTW, in Illinois (at least where I live) Coke/Pepsi (Yay Pepsi!) is called "Pop." Wisconsin calls it "Soda." I take great glee in tormenting my nephew, who hates it when I use the word "Pop."

In a restaurant, if you ask for a Coke, you'll either get the line "We have Pepsi" (just to make sure you get the right thing) or they just bring you whatever cola is on their menu.

Sounds like something I would do. Everyone thinks I'm crazy for drinking my pop warm because I don't want to dilute it. Plus, the frozen pepsi would make a nice snack on its own as well (sorta like a popsickle).

Too gorram funny!

People love a happy ending. So every episode, I will explain once again that I don't like people. And then Mal will shoot someone. Someone we like. And their puppy. - Joss
