Nathan Fillion and Katee Sackhoff will bring the noise.
The pair has signed up to star in White Noise 2: The Light. The film follows on from the 2005 sleeper hit, and will see the lead character (played in the first film by Michael Keaton) realising that he’s changed and can now identify those about to die. But his powers come with some terrible ramifications. Matt Verne has written the script for Patrick Lussier to direct.
Fillion is better known as Captain Mal Reynolds in Firefly and Serenity, while Sackhoff stars as Kara “Starbuck” Thrace in the re-imagined Battlestar Galactica.

Even if it's not Serenity 2, I think I'll still buy a ticket to see those two in that movie together.

Of course I'm delighted that he's working on
another movie, I will definitely go see it.
But, when is he going to have time to be the
Captain again? Wasn't he like, born to do that?
Me = born audience, NF = born Captain.

well white noise 1 was crap...but at least this means that Nate will be in a film people will you know....see! the added star power would help Serenity 2

Any movie with our beloved Captain in it is a movie that I'm gonna support. He's a great actor... probably the most underrated actor in hollywood. His usual charm, wit, and brilliance will make any movie more than just worth seeing.

That’s the reason Serenity didn’t do so well in theaters – no big name stars. Nathon has the right idea, put some pictures under his belt, let his name become more recognized. If the other members of the crew would do the same and not waste there time with “Soccer Moms,” and crap like that Serenity 2 could, and would be a huge success.

Happy! Happy! Good to hear Nathan's getting more work. But wait, he's playing Michael Keaton's character? Didn't he die at the end of the first movie?

If things were only that easy in Hollywood where up-and-comers could just land big movies and not "waste their time" with smaller roles.
If it was that easy, every actor would be successful and well known.Anyway. Good for NF. I haven't seen White Noise, mainly because I heard it was terrible, but I may think twice about Pt. 2 since he's in it.

I have White Noise on DVD. I wouldn't call it terrible, by any stretch, and I'm a fairly harsh critic. I thought it was pretty good, actually. Not great. Not fantastic. But entertaining, and certainly worth at least a rent.

Good to see Nathan getting work.
Personally "White Noise" didn't do anything for me with the commercials they aired. A friend rented it when it released on DVD & brought it over one night. Watched it & was not impressed. Doubt I would watch a sequel on anything more than DVD.
