Welcome here, we're weird.

The first thing I say to new people, after what I just said, is a little reminder. If you want more you need to get new people interested. Spread the word, tell everyone, that sort of thing.

The next thing I do is tell you what you might already know, you're one of us, you're family, welcome home.

I've got nothing else to add really, though I am happy renting is converting some people.

Hey, I'm a newbie too.

I've been nicely welcomed, and I'm prepared to read everything and post minimally. That is only because I haven't anything new to add to the conversation. *In flight school, I was laconic once.*

I've been through the Firefly dvds several times now. My husband, who is also enjoying them, has asked if I'm bummed since there is no more to view. I tell him I'm not because I like repeats and I know how much more these boards can add.

*salutes dutifully* YESSIR! I shall go out and convert the masses to Browncoatism!!! *sigh* I feel so at home amongst other people as wierd as me. And so many in one place! I love you guys ^^

Seriously, though, it is quite a treat to have a new recruit sign on before he's even seen everything! :) How shiny is that! I really hope you will feel welcome here. The only real disappointment I can see happen, is when you find out, to your great grief, that the series ends. :( But we all hold out hope for a new series and/or BDM. That is why we hold, hold until Mal gets back!

In the meantime, make yourself at home, because you are! :)

I'm popping back into this thread to hand Joss18thAngel, ShadowChild,and Flautistfirst their Browncoats, ( it's become sorta ceremonial for me to do this the last couple of days....)

Converting the masses to Browncoatism....mmm I love the sound of that. 10 years of series and multiple movies... here we come!

*Accepts the coat shes offered and hugs it before putting it on* I-I dont know what to say...Ive never felt so warmly welcome anywhere...(Hell I sometimes dont feel welcome in my own house lol!) The characters in Firefly and Serenity were so friendly and caring to each other, its great that their fans follow suit. *hugs and for the coat giver* I think I might like it here ^_^
