It can only be described as a firefly moment

I'm sitting in class and the prof. is going on about somebody's pictures in a critique. The next thing I know, he says "It's like having a conversation and somebody suddenly starts spouting Chinese"

I burst out laughing because all I could think about was firefly. Has anyone else had something random like this happen to them?

Wash: Yeah, but psychic? That sounds like science fiction.
Zoe: You live on a spaceship, dear.

All the time.
I fear I'm hopeless!

Yeah, and then you look at your Prof., and think: "You think that was weird? ... *I* even knew what they were saying!" :)

We are reading Macbeth in English and we got to the part where he is seeing Banquo's ghost and freaking out about it...(he's the only one that can see it).

My teacher would stop and translate it into English (not Shakespeare) for us and she said something like "he's a little crazy and needs to sleep." I looked at my friend (a fellow Browncoat) and we started laughing.

The whole class gave us weird looks, but that's normal...so...that's one of my many Firefly moments.

I wanna meet some AZ Firefly fans!

I kinda had a reverse Firefly moment...

I noticed while watching Serenity for the 5th time that Capt. Reynolds and I share an identically placed and lengthened scar on our upper left pectoral. Probably received them under similar circumstances, too.

"Deep in the battlefield covered in blood
Lies an Airborne Ranger dying in the mud
He fought for his country and he died like a man
Though some people back home just wouldn't understand"

Chrismoorhead,
My dad was an airborne ranger. Has a few scars from it too.

Isn't Mal's pectoral scar meant to be a relic of The Train Job? He has a couple more in the movie that are in the right place to be from events that happened in the series...

The guy who showed me Firefly for the first time (after I'd seen the BDM) shares a birthday with Alan Tudyk. That's my only Firefly moment so far. Seeing as I saw the series for the first time a month ago, that's not bad going.

Next time you'll have to be ready with some Mandarin for an appropriate reply.

I was pretty excited to see Mal and I share the same birthday (you see it in the movie when the Operative is looking at Mal's record). So far the only moment I got. But neat!
