It can only be described as a firefly moment

I totally cannot sword fight, same as Mal.

Honestly, I don't know where he got that scar from. I just finally got enough money to order the DVD box set, which will also be my first oppertunity to watch the series in it's entirity.
Someone else posted a picture of the Capt'n in another thread, and as it turns out, it's actually on his right pectoral, while mine is located on the left. Made me sad.

I was in my history class the other day, and the prof was talking about some lady in France in the 1700s that was a companion to an elderly widow. She then asked the class what we thought her duties might have been. I was kind of chuckling to myself when she picked on a guy sitting behind me who obviously hadn't been paying attention. He said "uh, was she like, a... prostitute?" my chuckling was no longer to myself...

I don't disagree on any particular point.

Haha! That's true, all I have to do is take pictures in the mirror and no one will be the wiser. I'll never be as pretty as him, though.

The big scar on the right pec is from a nasty curved knife wielded by a tattoo-faced character named Crowe who worked for Adelai Niska before Mal kicked him (Crowe) through a running engine.
It's okay, Chris. You seem to have more scars (so far) than Mal, if that was your torso we saw posted a while back.

I was at this bar and grill place with an over abundance of fau-tiffany light fixtures, and started thinking how much Nishka would dig the place.
Also, I had to read The Tempest a few weeks back for my comparative lit class ans had to resists the urge to stare off into space and whisper "miranda" everytime we talked about Prospero's daughter, lol. I seem to be having more and more ff moments each day :-)

Well - I've converted three of my teachers to Firefly by quoting to myself - or writing quotes in my book.
But one particularly funny Firefly moment - (to everyone around me - not me) - was that we were watching a clip from "A Knight's Tale" in English (while studying Chaucer - there was relevance) and Alan Tudyk came on screen. I - despite having seen AKT many many times - shouted out - "Wash is alive!!!!" Everyone turned to look at me - and there was a lot of staring. It was only then I realised I'd said it aloud - and no one else has any idea what I'm on about.
I converted three people that day though. Go me!
--------------------------------------
19 conversions and counting!!!

Indeed it was, if you're ever bored and want to play a fun game, try guessing which ones were caused by steel, and which ones were caused by lead.

Now that would be a fine game... sitting around with Chris and Mal, sharing a drink, talking about scars... yea.. I could do that.
I would be so in awe of both of you for being so brave.
Thanks, Chrismoorhead, who shares bravery with our beloved capt. and also a scar ( in the mirror!)
