The Sereni-Tree, Dealings on Boros, and Mai-Quest 2

Phantom floats back into the main room of the infirmary and finds quite a few more people in there than when he left. He is starting to feel comfortable around them, despite the fact that none of them can see him, and none of them know that he even exists. Even the new faces seem almost familiar to him, as if they all share the same spirit, the same sense of...adventure, it seems.
He moves closer, his previous musing pushed to the back of his head, and he leans to see who is lying on the table. There are people in his way, though, and he does not wish to pass through any of them, since he is as of yet unsure what that might do. So he reaches out instead, almost as if by instinct, and wishes for the one in front of him to move just one step to the right--
--and the doctor moves one step to the right. Exactly one step. Phantom moves back in shock, and then slowly forward again. Did he make the doctor do that, or was it just coincidence? So he tries again. This time he wills for two steps to the left--
--and the doctor moves exactly two steps to the left.
Well...interesting...
Phantom floats back again. Something in his mind clicks. A memory. Very fleeting. A pull.
But a pull to where?

Hey Darlin' I had the strangest o' drea...
* His eyes open slightly. Seeing Anne his smile grows. His eyes peer just over her shoulder, spotting the inside of a room like nothing he's seen before and just as quickly, the smile is gone.*
It wern't no dream then? But you're alive. How? No, that can wait. I think I might need a bit more rest, You'll be here when I wake up?
* Obviously still groggy, Jack starts to fade back to sleep *

Hey, Doc, while you are at it, could you check out Rat, too? He seems to have lost his memory. Probably from this bump on his head.
*TheRealMe then departs the Infirmary, gesturing for Kelly to follow. His four wings get caught on the door frame as he exits. *
Dammit!
* TheRealMe folds his wings tightly to his back again, and continues. After leaving the infirmary, he turns right and leads Kelly a short way along the lower balcony until they reach some doors on the curving wall to their right. The largest is labeled “South Wing Entrance”. He pushes a button to one side of this doorway, and another door opens to reveal an elevator. They step inside, and take it down one level. The doors open moments later. *
This is the common room, Kelly. It is where we come to relax. It is the oldest part of the Sereni-Tree, from back when it was just a treehouse.
* TheRealMe turns right, and leads Kelly along a bar of dark well-polished wood. There are bar stools along it and a couple of tables out in front of it. Behind the bar, there is a large (and cracked) mirror and shelves full of booze. *
Kelly, this is Trey’s Bar on our right. Just on our left you can see the pool table. The Sereni-Tree’s Captain has her nest underneath the pool table, along with Cozens Chair of Pleasurable Torture. Over there, you can see our video game arcade area, and over there is our giant plasma TV with racks of DVDs. Way on the opposite side of the common room you can see the entrance to our water park.
* TheRealMe takes Kelly to the far end of the bar, and turns right. Nearby on the curving wall is a large doorway labeled “East Wing Entrance”, but they enter a doorway closer to the end of Trey’s Bar. TheRealMe’s wings get caught yet again. *
Huh! I can’t wait until these things fall off! Anyway, here is our kichten!
* It seems that the entire area behind the bar is taken up by a well-equipped and well stocked kitchen. There is a large pantry full of goods and a huge walk-in freezer. There are multiple stoves and sinks along one wall, and an island in the center with specialized knives, strainers, multi-sized bowls, huge wood spoons, and other cooking implements. Inside the kitchen is a robot made of metal and plastic, calmly mopping the floor. *
Oh, and that’s Sparky, a robot that I invented. You can ask him to do tasks for you. We just had stopped by Earth-That-Still-Is and resupplied, so you should be able to find most things you need.

*KellyofLuthien looks around with wonder and happiness as she surveys her new home. She gets a pleasant feeling from the place, like she somehow belongs on the ship. As TRM leads her into the kitchen, Kelly's lips curve into a satisfied smile. 'Yes,' she thinks, 'this should do just fine.' She turns to TRM, careful to not bump her wings on the doorframe, and says
"Thank you, TRM, for all your hospitality, and for the tour! If you don't mind, I'd like to begin cooking now. I hope you will like what I prepare."
*TRM bows his way out, and KOL wastes no time in beginning the meal. First, she steps quietly over towards Sparky and introduces herself. Sparky seems to register information from her, and then waits for her command. She politely asks him to find some fresh vegetables and chop them. Sparky shuffles over to the refigerator and begins his work.
KOL feels a tingling sensation at her shoulderblades and suddenly hears a soft "whoosh." She looks down to see two glittering piles of colored dust. Her wings have fallen off! 'Oh well,' she thinks,'they'd have just gotten in the way anyway.'
Kelly works diligently for a long time, humming snatches of Elven songs to herself as she prepares the meal. When she is finally finished, she steps back and admires her work, which is spread over the entire counter space of the kitchen.

I think I kind of know what happened. Your not looking so good. YOu may want to sit down for this..
I had an eerily similar dream too! Or at least I think it was dream.
Before I came to in the midst of the all the piratey-ness. I found myself in this strange place. I got scared at first so I ran an hid in the cabinet. Serenity was there, but she was different somehow. Cozen was there too (he ended up in the cabinet somehow as well). It all seemed so real, I thought we'd been kidnapped but once I came out I realized that everyone was friendly and somehow familiar but I couldn't figure how I knew them. And the pirates were in my dream too, but they weren't pirates.
*head starts to throb*
Now I'm thinking we somehow got jumbled up in each other's dreams and switched places. But none of it makes sense.
*sits down heavily beside Elemdee now very confused*

Nell, stands confused, and a little scared -it happened again,she thinks to herself, the disguise isn't holding, is it affecting her appearence yet?, oh yotz, some of them will have noticed already.
She glances around the room, no-one is paying any attention to her, she sees Rose, smiles a bit. Theres me grabbing the wrong end of the stick again, all those squishy good byes were a tad unnecessary.
Well, hopefully thy'll prove as unobservant as the last lot. Gods I was happy on that ship, I doubt i'll get to go back.
Her eyes fall on PR - impertinent little bugger. how was I to guess he could already shoot, it was a kindly offer...oh well.

Hey buddy she mouths silently at him, then realises he's staring groggily at Anne, not taking his eyes off her. oh, right, she looks around at all the different people, what a disparate bunch, still, they seem nice enough.
Then she notices the Doctor, doing strange, precise little steps, first one way, then the other.
Wha...?
then she feels it, a strange pressing on her temples, like when..... ...no, can't be, not here.
I refuse to think like that.
