Season Three: Set Designers on Crack

Monkey crack, I tell you...

Anyways, things that amused me about Buffy Season Three, the early episodes:

In "Faith, Hope and Trick", Faith and Scott flirt in front of a poster that reads "A Lot of Campus Rapes Start Here".

In "Beauty and the Beasts", a locker room poster reads "Research Shows Most Women Aren't Attracted To Dead Guys". (*most*?!?!? Who were their focus groups?).

In "Homecoming", Buffy compiles that list for her competition on the whiteboard and it is as follows:

Weaknesses: Few Friends. New Student. No Boyfriend. Introvert. Always Studying.

Michelle Blake.
Strengths: Popular Cheerleader. Athletic. Year Book Editor. Friendly. Good Cook. Nice.
Weaknesses: Bad Skin. Wears Polyester. Dandruff. Too Much MakeUp. PB Crazed. Never Studies.

Cordelia Chase.
Strengths: Popular With Boys. Makes Friends Easily. Has Money To Buy Votes. Expensive Clothes. Perfect Teeth.
Weaknesses: Manipulative. Two Faced. Bad in Sports. Superficial. No Sense of Humor. Fake Smile. Brie. Xander.

First of all... Xander?!? This is a list she was pointing out and detailing to the room: Oz, Willow and XANDER himself. She lists him as a weakness to his face (no wonder he sided with Cordy).

Secondly... Brie?!? How is that a weakness? And why is it Cordy's? She *hates* Brie. According to her it "smells like Giles' [zombie] cat" (a la 'Dead Man's Party').

Wears polyester made me giggle.

Buffy is so petty.

Lol, I never spotted that stuff. Now I must get the season 3 boxset for x-mas. I think I know how I'll be spending my vacation...
