I believe it was Sarge who told us about this last night. These are posts from AB on the "other" board.

The fact that there has been so little network bashing, and cross-board flaming, not only helps us continue flying under the radar. But also speaks to the character and intelligence of the Browncoats who call this place home. :-)

Worst case scenario:
The board would become a "Read Only" site. So the hundreds of thousands of posts, and thousands of threads would be archived for posterity. :-)

One other question I have is how would everyone here feel if all of a sudden everyone over there suddenly showed up here?

Wouldn't it be funny if it turned out that Jayne'sGirlfriend was AB, or someone with a similar sn? For all you know, I could be Adam Baldwin. You know, if I wasn't the wrong height, weight, eye color, and gender.

The thought of that happening leaves me with mixed emotions. It would be great for this site to be popular with all Firefly fans, but I think it would lose some of the close communtiy feel that we have right now.

I found the Fox board first in my quest for Firefly. I posted there a couple of times, but it was so hard to keep up with all the posts. There are so many and I didn't like how the board was set up either. Not as advanced as it could be.

When I found FFF.net it was like a breath of fresh air. It is well set up with a decent size group of regular posters. Lots of features and all those extras the Haken provides us with is just exemplory. I love it here and have made some good friends during my short time here.

As i said, popularity is good, but I worry about overpopulation as a result of it. Make sence or should I just shut up now?

Doh! You got me LivingImpaired, I am indeed Adam Baldwin. If Adam were a foot shorter and female of course, but you know they can do just about anything with computer animation these days so who knows?

Oh and please, please come say hi to us Adam. On the most part we're very nice people and not at all obsessed or anything. Nope, no scary shrines to your extreme hotness around here. Nuh uh.

so long as they don't come here to bash us, I'm all for new fans stopping by.
