I just watched the Halloween episode of The Simpsons (a day later, I love tivo) and they did a parody of AI and I believe the film was called The Game (where a rich man hunts humans on his private island). The third story they did was about a witch putting a curse on the townspeople so that they would become their costumes... one person was dressed as Dracula and became a vampire, Marge was dressed in clothes with a skeleton design and became a skeleton, Homer was a headless man and became a headless man... those of you who love Buffy most likely realize what I'm talking about... those of you who need a memory refresher, there was a second season Halloween episode of Buffy, entitled "Halloween" where Willow was dressed as a ghost and became a ghost and Xander was dressed as a Army man and became a soldier...

I gave up on The Simpsons around season 12...lol

although I love the fact Matt has got around to Buffy...He's done everyone else....

I'm a fan of The Simpsons spin-off but Fox gave it a bit fat "C" like always...

Hey, if Groening is going to start parodying ( ripping off ?) other show ideas, why not Buffy or Angel? Makes sense to me. They were well done in the 1st place.

" They don't like it when you shoot at 'em. I worked that out myself. "

The Simpsons has always been about parodying things, whether TV, movie or real life. That's part of what makes it so entertaining. I'm just surprised it took them this long to get around to Buffy. But damn, I missed that ep and the Halloween ones are always my fave!

I give to you the Seeker of Serenity, the Valkyrie Warrior, the Gourmet Cook and the Truth Scoper.

There was a rumour years back of a possible crossover ep in the style of the X-Files Ep. It would have featured Buffy, Xander and Willow (at least).
