I'm also gonna say that I liked ROTS.
*ducks as objects are thrown at head*
Could be partially cuz I think Hayden Christiansen is hot, or that I didn't see the original Star Wars until last year. However, I still think it's a good film in its own right, even if it's not as good as Serenity. But hey, what is these days?

I give to you the Seeker of Serenity, the Valkyrie Warrior, the Gourmet Cook and the Truth Scoper.

Any film which makes the audience laugh in contempt at the screen (as I have personally witnessed three times over) is just bad.

I guess it depends on the audience you watch it with. I did see a screening of Ep. 2 where someone was heckling the screen, but he was also drunk as hell.

But at several of the screenings I attended, especially for 3, the audience cheered and applauded several times.

ROTS was OK...just OK. If I had seen it BEFORE Serenity....oh well. Serenity ruined it for me. The characters in ROTS were so SHALLOW and POORLY acted compared to Cpt. Tightpants and crew.

I tend to agree with y'all that Episode III was really weak, but I watched it on DVD last night. Turns out that if you skip all the Anakin/Padme scenes, it's not that bad of a movie all of a sudden. :) Quick message to George Lucas: Don't try to write anymore love scenes, you're just no good at it.
Anyway, I totally recommend watching the DVD for one or two of the deleted scenes, and skip all the Anakin/Padme scenes. Oh and the final "pussification" of Vader.
"NNOOOOOOOOO!!" How can you respect a guy as a bad-ass after that?

I have to say, the "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" was exactly how I felt at the time. And destroyed any shred of respect I ever had for Darth Vader... in an instant.

Oh, me too Phoebe, I laughed! Out loud- loudly!

I just couldn't believe the epitome of villainhood was created by what???? that sorry storyline and also that he was such a wimp. Dumb, just plain dumb.

I didn't care about the Jedi's, nor Padme, nary a tear did I shed....
now Serenity made me cry, hard.
That's a story!

I used to be a Star Wars fan... of the old ones, so my apologies to all of you who still are, but I can't think that spendin' money on this thing is a wise action. I'm savin' my money for multiple copies of Serenity!

What bothered me most about Revenge of the Sith was the fact that Annakin wasnt evil, he was just STUPID; he was an IDIOT, and it didnt take much to happen for him to kneel before that cross-dressing emperor and call him master.

I used to be a Star Wars fan, and what I mean by Star Wars is the the originals...the recent3 are just too stupid to believe, but the special effects were good. As I said in an earlier post, I was yawning through the scene where Annikin was killing off the younglings.

The only thing I like about the 3 recent Star wars movies, were the special effects, and the actors they used to play Obi-wan and Padm'e....thats it.

When they showed Darth Idiot screaming "Nooooooo" at the end of the movie, I was thinking "What an idiot"

My little brother could kick Darth vaders azz

"Anakin, you're breaking my heart!"

That is the worst line in cinema history. Cheesy AND poorly delivered.

A trilogy where the only decent scene involves a CGI Yoda is pouncing "Dracula"'s head?

Nuff said.

"Hey, support it best you can! I believe supporting this as far as we can will get Serenity restarted. Right now seems VERY "Out Of Gas", and the Fans are Mal. We need to get her running to get the Big Damn Button pushed."

"I don't care what you believe in! Just BELIEVE!"

That was Padme, right?

It's amazing... Lucas and co managed to turn Natalie Portman into a bad actress. That takes some skill.
