Just saw Revenge Of The Sith on dvd, and WOW

For me it was the "Frankenstien" walk he did when he got off the "operating table" that made me cringe and loose all respect.

For some strange reason, I thought it was pretty good when I saw it in the theater, but after watching it on DVD (and after seeing Serenity), the whole movie just seem flat, boring, and really cheesy (in a bad way).

I couldn't agree more about the books. If they made the Zahn triology or the New Jedi Order into movies they'd have pure spun gold. Those capture the feeling of the original movies much better than these prequels do.

I mean the solo kids are great characters. They all have their own personalities and you can see their logic for making the choices they do. It's not just that the choice needs to be made to get to the next big fight scene. Grrrr and to think I had so much respect for Lucas before these movies.

And for me, that was totally logical. I imagine one would be a little stiff and unsteady on their feet right after having received a new set of legs that are several inches longer than the ones he was used to.
