Here's a hard question Mikey, is the best ep of Buffy better than the best ep of Angel or Firefly?
(Ha! I AM evil!!!!)
Can't speak for Angel, having seen so few, but my fav (Fool For Love) isn't (IMHO) better than Objects In Space (or Out Of Gas, or Serenity, for that matter), but it's damn close.

Evil, tormenting Chrisisall

Damn good question, but damn evil.

My take:

I would say on the whole if you cruelly, brutally forced me to compare the two, then I would say Firefly is the better show. But the best episode? I'd have to compare the brilliance of OMWF with the homieness of Serenity or the beauty of OiS...

You are evil. Evil fun.

I love FF most of all, and good luck to me picking a single ep...Serenity....no....Out of Gas...no...OiS. Crap. Today, for one day only, I will say that without Serenity, the other two wouldn't work as well for me.

Buffy is similarly difficult, but in this instant I choose A New Man...

My Angel Season 2 is on loan. The two eps set in Loren's land is my favorite eps. Gru. Headless Loren. First Fred. Joss doing the dance of silliness. That one's more firmly chosen. Might last a week.

No, THIS must be what going mad feels like.

That was Joss?? I LOVE it, I have to watch that again.

It's impossible to compare 144 episodes of Buffy to 14 of Firefly.
Every episode of Firefly was great, and there were a few pretty crap episodes of Buffy--notably, I Robot You Jane, Grave, and the last 10 minutes of Get It Done ("Mighy forces, I suck at Latin, but I'm in charge,so open up, portal!"; "A kill like that is good for the soul."--just cringe-worthy)--but SEVEN years of Buffy.

A very difficult question.

It's good to see Cisall speaking through Visitingmyintentions. I could hardly see the lips move...

I'll take the best of Serenity (OoG?) over the best of Buffy or Angel. Simply stated, I like my SciFi! While I can think of some great Buffy's, I am always hard pressed to come up with a great Angel. For me, they all blur together to make one big story.

Actually, this is pretty easy for me. Overall, Joss just keeps getting better so I happen to think that Firefly as a series is probably better than any series year of Buffy or Angel.

However, "Hush" and "Once More With Feeling" are perfection. The closest, "Firefly" came to those was "Out of Gas".

Also, "Angel"'s puppet episode was one of the funniest, most brilliant TV shows I ever saw. A few of the Firefly eps were better but certainly not all.

That's my .02.

I hear he practices during his night job at the morgue.

"Hi, I'm dead body number one."
"Hey, I'm number one. You're number two!"
"Yargh! One or Two, which one of you stole my pancreas. It's missing..."

...So you see, working with a live body is a step up.
