UPDATE: I'm being well-betaed and should have the fic up sometime shortly after Hween, if I can stop fiddling with it. Thanks all, for your help so far. Hope somebody salutes when I finally run this thing up the flagpole...

Original Post: I warn you: I'm brand new at this, first fanfic ever and I'm a little scared in the bargain. This 4 pager is the start of my first, primarily involves Jayne and Kaylee but mostly Kaylee with Jayne unconscious, sort of, so far.

Jacqui, loved your response! You sound just like me. Hope when my pitiful first offering hits the light of your computer monitor you won't be disappointed cause there's sure some great Jaylee stuff out there. Right now I'm still trying not to hone my 4 pages into oblivion. Please stand by until I find the strength to cut the apron strings and let my baby walk. :0)

Well, you know that I hear the word Jaylee and I start salivating then and there, it's a pavlovian response. It's going to be good, just because of that alone. Nothing Jaylee can truly disappoint.

Was that a line you drew in the sand? And that felt like the gentle tap of a kid glove on my maxillofacial region, unless very much mistaken. I hear you and of course you are correct on all counts. So when I stop this fear-based hyperventilating and my blurred vision clears enough to see the keyboard, I'll send along the Jaylee.
