Destiny-Episode 6: Return of the Browncoats

So...
It looks like I'm the first one to sign on since seeing it last night. I've got a horrible headcold which is not helping me deal with the shock of last night.
Has everyone seen it? Can we talk about it?
On a positive note, by brother went as "two by two" guy, my sister was adorable as Kaylee, I did the Inara in a white shawl and red dress thing, and my boyfriend wore the Jayne hat. I have a cute picture of us all. Nowhere California turned out to be slightly low on fan enthusiasm sadly, but there were a bunch of people there who clearly appreciated our costumes and gave us thumbs up for "representing".
So what did you all think of the BDM?

Gah - I'm glad people are looking into the Serenity Fanbase but darn I missed this site since Friday!
Still there can't be much better than seeing Serenity with 200-300 other fans- the Raleigh Premiere Party Rocked!!

Yes, the NCBDMPP in Raleigh was a success. It was amazing!
And it was sooo great to see Flechette again, and to meet Dr. Me in real life! And Tim!
Flechette made me the coolest Zoe necklace. I love it!
A fantastic time was had.
I only saw the movie twice over the weekend, but I plan to see it again this weekend, and the weekend after that, and the weekend after that....
But if we're going to start talking about it, we may have to post a spoiler notice!!

There, I just finished Dr. Me's Jayne hat. I wonder if anyone else wants one. I've got lots of yarn left.

Serenity and Ami hear noises at that moment outside the hatch.
Suddenly the hatch bursts open and a large foam covered object drops/falls through and lands with a resounding thud at the bottom of the ladder.
The foam stands up, and moves toward Serenity and Ami.
"Any bugs in here?" Safe's voice comes out of the foam.

Serenity: Safe, you look like you've just been through a car wash and missed the rinse and dry cycle.
Wee, looks like the site may be back up! I've tried often and couldn't get through. We should start a new thread with "spoilers" in the title so we can discuss the film.
I'm jealous y'all went to happenin' screenings and got to hang out together. Mine was very dead (except for my family going in costume)--we were the only ones singing the ballad of Serenity during the credits!
