One last thing before I go...
Over at slipstreambbs.com, one of the regular posters went to a Buffy panel, upon which Joss, Marti, Allyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon, James Marsters, Michelle Trachtenberg, and some production folks sat.
For the synopsis (which is long, rife with s7 spoilers, and overall quite interesting), go to:

Have fun,

I had no idea that Marsters was American! That accent he does is really good.
How old are the actors? Are they about the same age as their characters?

mmmm... James Marsters
He's very dreamy. I've seen interviews with him, and his real American "accent" sounds fake coming from his mouth. It's pretty funny.
As for the rest, I'm very glad to hear that the Doublemeat Palace is a thing of the past. I never believed that the best Buffy could do was fast food. Even without a college degree, even without much experience, she could have gotten a much better job. As much as everyone scoffed when the idea of law enforcement came up in Season 2 during "What's My Line", I always thought it made sense.
Speaking of job futures... What the heck is Willow supposed to be majoring in? It occurrs to me they've never mentioned it. And shouldn't she graduate at the end of S7? I find it interesting that, between the main three folks, the slacker Xander is the only one with a real career. :) I love his line about realizing he's a good guy to have around after a robot attack.
As for Spike, it will be interesting to see what Joss means by "something James has never played before", although I'm glad to hear it, because it must mean that he's not coming back as "William the Bloody (awful poet)".
Spike: Bloody hell. Sodding, blimey, shagging, knickers, bullocks. Oh, god. I'm English.
Giles: Welcome to the nancy-tribe.
