Ouchies! How on earth did you do that?

"My God - you're like a trained ape. Without the training."

was totally my own fault, I was chopping salad for dinner, and the phone rang, i left everything on the side, when i walked back in the kitchen i leant on the counter and the knife slipped and fell onto the chair, i turned round to get it, and it went right into my leg, so i moved to get it out and it went in a bit more.

i yanked it out applied pressure the aid of a tight bandage, waited to see if it was going to stop, realised that it wasnt, rang my doc, who said come here i will see if you need hospital and you know the rest.

I is back! And somewhat *pishhed* I would add. Hiccup! Met up with friend, and he dragged me to some sci-fi meeting, as he's just moved to Helsinki and is looking for new crowds. Now there was nothing wrong with these peeps, but they were of the slightly quiet nerdy disposition, so I honestly got bored after a while.
It also stole around 5 hours of my time, before I could come back and break the tension:

Yes Carol, you are absolutely right with Mulholland Drive. And for all you uneducated fools out there, you should definitely go see it. David Lynch is my personal demi-god. Most critics argue that Blue Velvet is the quintessential Lynch film, in terms of it crystalising his thematic weirdness, but personally this one packed the biggest punch for me. Both for its subtle, creepified horror that in the backstory, but also because of what emotional implications it has when you unravel the story. As it has been said, this movie is an absolute brainfuck; moreso than many other more mainstream equals (Memento etc), and it is highly surreal without being an 'artsy film'.

And if you spend some time afterwards thinking, speculating and analysing on what the film is *actually about*, it's even more rewarding than the film itself...

I'm too drunk to plug it anymore. Go watch the movie, and we'll talk about it more once you're confused.

Also, the caliber of and the range of Naomi Watt's acting in this film is something else! If she does nothing else worthwhile for the rest of her career, I will love her unconditionally for this one role...

American Psycho is also a fantastic flick, and am also strangely drawn to Mr. Bale's nekkidness. Is this bad??

Oh Carol. *shudders* Owie owie owie! Poor you! That's why I NEVER leave knives on the kitchen counter. My grandmother does that all the time and I'm just waiting for the day one of them hurt themselves. I always have to take the knife and lay it way at the back of the counter with the blade facing the back wall.

Poor poor you! *hugs and vodka*

Oh, Carola! Hope you're okay. Was it a pretty doctor? Shirtless?

And hilary! Wow! Big Summer posters! I relly hope they have our 10x8!

And I also want the black and white one of her wearing a white hat, she looks really cool and I've never seen that image anywhere else other than Serenity. And I want the one of her sitting in Wash's chair, and the headshot one of her from the 'pointing' scene.

And guess what, girlies... today I had a peanut butter and chocolate aspread sandwhich! Was the first thing I mixed peanut butter with. It was just lush. Absolutely lovely. Thanks for the tip. Can't wait to try other peanut butter-related things!!

And Christian Bale? I've never seen American Psycho, but me and my friend Sam were looking throuh a magazine at work and saw a picture of his american nekkidness in the hunks rundown section bit thing.
