'Mulholland Drive' is a US film, I think. Not having seen it, I couldn't really say for certain.

Yep - American. Directed by David Lynch. One of Naomi Watts first big roles.
Although, er, I haven't seen it.
Hmmm, American Psycho - was it real or was it his imagination? And do we care so long as Christian Bale is naked?

I watched Donnie Darko when it was on a few weeks ago. On the surface it looks like
Select to view spoiler:
"odd boy develops strange powers and kills self earlier in time at the end of the movie to save the girl he loves"
but there's more to it than that. And any movie that requires you to listen closely to the director's commentary and work through the official website to work out what it's really all about is a bit too much, if you ask me.

Hmm, I've not seen any of those films. I'm so uncultured.
Which board is the "UB" one; is that the one at browncoats.serenitymovie.com?

I can see you.

From talking to a fan of both the book and the movie, I think it's supposed to be all in his head...
Again, another film I've not seen. So many movies, so little time...

I reckon so. Stands for 'Universal Board' I should think.

When it was on TV, did they show the regular version or the Director's Cut? I've only seen the original so far, although I have bought the DC (pretty flashy holographic cover and all) but haven't got round to watching it yet.
