Pants is a great word (i.e. underpants or rubbish for non-Brits). If you doubt me, check out how vastly improved the following lines from Star Wars are by the simple substitution of one word with the word 'pants':

There's still that one line in Safe that I can't figure out. It's when Mal et al are rescuing Simon and River from being burned at the stake after the "She's our witch. Cut her the hell down." line. Mall turns to Simon and says something but I can never understand it and whoever did the subtitles couldn't understand it either because it shows it as "incoherent mumbling" or somesuch.
Anyone got any clues?
