Anyhoo, as I've posted at the UB, Play has the release date for the VC as 29th September, not the 1st. Amazon is now saying ships in 1-2 weeks (although the dispatch date for my order is still allegedly tomorrow. Yeah right).
So, if anyone's in London do they fancy popping into the Cinema Store & see if they're selling it there? (probably at £20.00...!).
(Ah, I see our friend has returned to the UB - BigDaddy2. Must be so tiresome having to think up new user names all the time!)

okay, i've got one, think it's WAY too obvious tho!
main characters friend dies and he finds himself stranded amongst people who he knows but don't know him. His presence is threatening his life and he must enlist the help of the previously dead friend to return him to where he was before, where said friend will now be dead again!

Well they've estimated my delivery date at either yesterday or today, and it hasn't even been dispatched yet. Work in an hour, woohoo. I wish I had internet at work! All I have is intranet where I can process membership forms.

I've cancelled it & ordered from Amazon.Com instead - OK, a little bit of risk waiting-time wise but price wise it's pretty much the same.
I've been fooled by Amazon's estimated dispatch times before! Mind you, my camera has been "ready to dispatch" since Sunday and it's been shipped today.
As for our little troll, not only does he keep having to come up with user names, he also posts a variety of cities/countries for his location (an easy way to check whether a new alias is indeed our "friend.") So for instance, BigDaddy2 comes from California, Canada.
Ah, priceless.

It is the official RPG of the Serenity 'Verse. I gather it refers to events, locations and characters from Firefly but not directly (ie no episode names).
It has an overview of the 'Verse, rules for profiling characters (including the cast) and 'adjudicating' their actions, and the like. So you can play the continuing adventures of the crew of Serenity or devise your own bunch of folks to wander 'round the 'Verse.
The 'Verse overview, with it's history, the planets, the societies and the tech, will probably be of interest to any fan, though it is of course only a semi-official version of it; later official material (sequels, anything actually written/said by Joss Whedon) would overrule it.
