Trust me, Keith (or KRAD as he's known to fans) is an amzingly good writer. I've read a few of his The Next Generation novels, which are of cours eother franchise novels, and they are amazing; far above the average that Trek novels normally are.

If anyone can do a good job on this, then its KRAD.

I'd love to see it. But, failing that, I'd encourage folks to look up my "fan novel" Kaylee's Lament.

Y'see, I'm a Next Generation writer myself, and since I don't have an agent, and I had this idea, I figured, why not have a little fun . . .

Well, I happen to know exactly why there is a book scheduled out next July Called "Mirror Image" (Serenity). If you read on be warned that this contacts a sort of spoiler:

This is the novelization of the 2nd movie that has already been filmed, and is going to be released next summer. The studio and everyone involved is trying to keept this under raps until they can release the suprise on the fans.

I for one can't wait!
