I have to thank ManWithPez, who was kind enough to get a ticket for me to the Charlotte screening. I spent that whole day on Fandango trying to score one but they sold out like hotcakes.

I was so glad I went. I met a score of other browncoats (all really shiny people) and had a fantabulous time. The movie is INCREDIBLE, just you wait.
I've never been involved in any sort of fan stuff before, so I was very hesitant getting involved in all this stuff. But now look at me: I keep track of 2 separate threads where I pretend to be on spaceships, I can't live a day without being on this website, I'm going to a sci-fi convention in a few weeks, I have a River t-shirt, a "Can't Take the Sky From Me" bracelet and a Serenity keychain, I have actually considered buying comic books and I knit Jayne hats! Alot of firsts for me these last few months.

Oh, and glad you like my blogs. Usually, it's just me whinging about my day.

See, this is why I like browncoats. Everyone's so very nice. (Except Evil Dr. SimonWho, but he makes up for it by being very funny.)

Oh yeah, I'd seen pictures of you two before (isn't there one in your blue sun room?). I didn't know you were both named Serenity for real though - I didn't even know it was a name!
I like it though, like a lot. Oh, I can imagine if I had lots of pets (I've only got a cat, and unfortunately, I didn't get to name it - though she's about 16/17 so if I did name her, back when I was 5/6, I surely would have called her something lame like Tom, as in the cartoons. She's actually named Smokey, but I'm going off on a tangent)... *loses train of thought*. Oh yeah, if I had lots of pets I probably would name them after characters in Tv shows. So you'd have the ten characters of firefly (yes Serenity included), plus Buffy, Angel, ones from The X Files... I watch soooo many shows.

Nah, I've never read Dilbert... then again, maybe I have, I don't know. Surely you don't expect me to remember everything I've said and done? I can't remember what I said in my message before this - I had to go back and check! I'll have to track down Greek and force... I mean, ask, him to give me the link. Like you, I could track them down, but I'm lazy (I mean, too important. No, that didn't sound right either)

I'm glad you sent me that link of all the photos. I'm going to have to go look through all of them (I've only caught a peek at a few so far), and maybe if I'm lucky, I'll go to the starfury convention and will soon find myself featured on that site too. If the server can take it that is

As for that paper... well it's just like high school again. Only when I copied essays from friends, I'd accidentally copy their name too

Growing up we had a Star Wars theme going with our pets for awhile. We had an Obie and a Leia. But that kind of went to the wayside.

I named my cat after a shakespeare character and then I decided that I'd just keep it up if/when I ever get anymore pets (not including pretend ones. I have a pet penguin that lives in the chatroom named Pierre and I'm soon going to get a pifflepony foal on the SereniTREE).

OH, that reminds me. I hope none of you who are getting hats are allergic to cats. My cat LOVES to "help" me knit (he sits in my lap and trys to eat the yarn as I pull it out of the skein). If I make the mistake of leaving my knitting sitting out, he will always decide that is exactly where he needs to take a nap. If you are, I am so very sorry!!

Needster-you can always email a picture to Fray101 (Fray101@aol.com) and she'll add it to the photo 'Verse. I don't think just one picture would break it. Especially if it's a Firefly themed picture.

So, what you're saying is that I have to write my own paper? *pouts*

And, just gotta say, the one with TRM shoving the kid out of the way. Hi-larious! TWG and Succatash may have the fancy equipment, but we have the some of most creative pictures, I'm sure.
