Whoo-hoo!!! IHOP!! (You big spender, you!!)
How can I resist, TRM?
(Actually, I really like their international crepes: the Swedish one has lingon berries on it. yum yum.) Okay, you're in line for a hat after Needy. I have a feeling I'm going to spend my time at the browncoat table at Dragon*Con knitting away!
Amy-that's all I can remember of the prayer!! lol. And yes, I really want to learn Hebrew. (I still remember a few things; how to count to 10 and the alphabet and a few phrases.) I'm on a hiatus at the moment from college (VERY LONG story) but I was working on a degree in linguistics. I want to do bible translation. I've already taken Greek (LOVED IT) and can't wait to study hebrew. And then maybe one day Latin. I just love languages.
And you're making your own red curry base! Good for you. I buy my bases pre-made. It's very hard for me to find all the ingredients I need. Lemon grass and shallots and dried chilies are impossible to find around here, for starters. I tend to have to order stuff online. I've found some yummy recipies online. I think www.atasteofthai.com has recipies for pad thai. You could try there.
I LOVE Canada! I really do. But I've never been to BC. Toronto and Niagra Falls and a bit of Quebec, but never very West.
And Safe-Maine is where my dad's family's from. It's not a very good representation of the rest of America (and I mean this in a good way. I love Maine. It is, in my mind, the prettiest and cleanest, and best smelling state there is.) But yeah, they're really big on ketchup in Maine. It goes on everything. That and tabasco sauce. But we do eat vinegar on alot of stuff in Maine. Mostly veggies. My grandmother would make cukes and vinegar for nearly every meal.
Flechette-that is a good suggestion and I may end up doing it. But I'm going to stop at this store in florida that I know my friend really likes and see if I can find something there first. And if I can't find something, well, I'm running to Target for a gift card.
I'm so happy it's Friday!! I think we should have a party.
Captain, permission to boogie down?

Whoo hoo!!! *ahem* I mean, thank you sir.
*Runs to her room, grabs party supplies. Hangs streamers and a big disco ball in the dining area. Procures several dozen helium balloons and ties them to nearly every available surface. Mixes some fun drinks, whips up some party mix. Grabs some party tunes, cranks the music over the ship's speakers. . Proceeds to boogie down.*
Join me in my party everyone! PR-I made some "mocktails". I make a wonderful fake mudslide with oreo ice cream.
*boogie boogie boogie*

Party-on groovy chick!!
Hurts my soul to see a woman dance alone....mind you, no slow dances now....my wife says I have 2 left feet (or was that her..) irregardless, no laughing and pointing.
At least no pointing ok? Howabout I just man the music, mingle, and have sparkling repartee? And spread around some giggles, without having to resort to dancing to get them.

Remember Safe, no one, I mean NO ONE dances as bad as Jack!

You have a point there.
But if he comes back and finds out I've been dancing after the grief I gave him.....I'd never, EVER, hear the end of it.

Easy. We won't tell him. And if he were to somehow catch us, or read past threads, we'll tell him we were attacked by space bees and were just trying to save ourselves. In time to loud music under a disco ball..yeah, he'll buy it!
*Safe looks sceptical*
It's a party!
Besides, he was the only one who was forbidden from dancing.
*sees that Safe is still not convinced*
Aww..here, have some cheese ball.

Ok maybe a little...*boogie boogie*
SAY, thats fun!!
*lets his hair down and cuts loose*
*Then remembers that buzz cuts don't allow for the hair-letting-down*
Oh well *boogie boogie*

Lol. Glad I could amuse, Safe.
Now it's nearly time for me to head off to Florida for the wedding I've been dreading/looking forward to all week. I hope more people show up, or else this party's going to be a flop. And I haven't thrown a bad party since 5th grade (that was the birthday the cake fell, I sprained my wrist and everyone left to go to the neighbor's house because she had nintendo. Bad birthday.)
Have a great weekend everyone, and party hardy!!
*boogies out the door*
