I gotta go with scooter as Simon, Gonzo as Wash, Piggy should be Inara though I'm not sure Janice is quite right for Zoe. Camila could be Zoe I guess, be fun to see a hardcore gun toting chicken. How bout Red Fraggle for Kaylee? Also having issues with River... Janice could do for river, she's about the only female character that's really that crazy and could pull off a complex character like that. Could always do Big Fat Bug Faced Baby Eating O'Brian... but she's not exactly a muppet. I think Summer would do an awsome job oposite muppets though, so maybe she could stay as River. I love Sweetums as Jayne, and Rizzo as Badger. Statler and Waldorf I think would be more intimidating as the blue hand guys than Bunson and Beaker. Bunson would be better in a more Mr Universe role. Fozzy as Jubal Early? Thoughts?

Clifford should be Book. He's just cool.
Thinkin' Gonzo should be Simon (he never quit fits) and that would make Camilla Kaylee (she's never happy to see some other chick oggeling Gonzo...just like Kaylee). Might work.
Besides, Janice is just too, wow, I don't know, kinda, you know, wow, to be our Kaylee (or Zoe for that matter).
Personally, while I love Kermie, he's too sweet/soft to be Mal. I think he'd be a better Wash with Miss Piggie as Zoe. Yeah, Kermit usally plays the leading man, but I'm sure he's a big enough amphibian to let someone else have the spotlight.
Dr. Bunsen and Beeker, I agree, would have to be blue hands. They're creepifying enough.
Rizzo, hands down, is Badger.
I think Rolf might make a good Cap'n. I think there's a lot of untapped depth there. And, according to his bio, he's willing to "Work like a dog to make sure this picture isn't a dog." Sounds like our current BDH Cap'n, huh.
Still thinking about Inara anr River. I'll get back to ya.
