Just a few minutes ago one of my cats was going nuts about something. When it became too much of a distraction, I finally looked to see what was going on. She was chasing a firefly.

I am wandering by a magazine rack in my favorite book seller when suddenly, from the cover of America's Civil War, I see the name JUBAL EARLY. I wasn't aware, until last night that Lt. Gen. Jubal Early (Old Jubilee) was a confederate general serving under Robert E. Lee. The article in this month's magazine discusses General Early's defense of the town of Lynchburg VA.

Watching Austin Powers in Goldmember.

Goldmember told Austin Powers, "I can see you have a tight body ... because of your tight pants." I could just imagine him saying this to Mal, and Mal looking down and replying, "I get that a lot."

good one! Futuresmith had a good catch on Jubal Early too.

for my fellow Dark Angel fans, Michael Weatherly was on JAG last night wearing mostly black, but with a brown zip sweatshirt under his windbreaker.

at the grocery store yesterday while getting Chinese food, i spotted a guy wearing a brown bomber jacket. since he was a complete stranger, i fought the urge to exclaim "Hey browncoat!" now i wonder if he would have known what i meant.

i'll be shopping for my browncoat this weekend.

Lynchburg...does that just say it all, or is it just me?

You’ve got to think Wash, flying shuttle, and gag reel for this one folks.

On my way to school I was trying to change CD’s with my right hand, shift with my left and drive with my knee and of course ended up swerving all around. When I hit the next red light I looked over past the passengers seat, to where the camera would have been (but was really an older lady in her car next to me) and said with a little laugh “I’m driving like sh**”. The lady didn’t get it, but it made me happy.

Oh and Sarah,
I am humbly and sincerely begging your permission to make a bumper sticker that reads “And every breath we drew?”. Please? Pretty, pretty please?
Thanks

Uh... okay. It's more of Rufus Wainwright's permission you need. I am flattered, tho and a little teary. Party on with your bad self! May I have a sticker? May I have a couple? I'd like five or six and am willing to pay good coin.

Did we have a bumper sticker thread? Should I start one up?

What answer did I give you? "Hell no! This is MY fic, not yours! Nobody elses. If you download it, I'll stop writing and then nobody gets any fan fic!!!"

Oh wait... that was those vidders. Probably I just said sure.

Channain, you're my big damn hero.
