So what made you think of Firefly lately?

Here is a list of thing that make me think of Firefly:
1. Books about dinos or stuffed dinos: I think of Wash when I see these items.
2. Watching anything that flys: Planes, birds, and dragonfly.
3. Finding myself saying "shiney" about a lot of things.
4. My mother's car: It's old but still keeps running just like Serintiy.
5. A nice, clear night so you can look at the stars.
6. Clouds that are shaped like Serinity.
7. A good, old bar bralw in a counrty movie: I see Mal , Zoe and Jayne amounst the other fighters.

Had a really bad day today-- every little thing that could go wrong, went wrong and I found myself repeating over and over again in my head...

Of course then I thought of Firefly and things just didn’t seem so bad.

i here ya. i often find myself humming the theme at work, singing the lyrics under my breath.
on Angel last night, Jasmine's new flunky was named "Patience" and Gina said the name pretty deliberately twice. add that to the use of "I will end you" on Buffy and i'm still thinkin' JW is trying to tell us something.
in Serenity, Wash was using a serious "radio puke" sales-guy voice for the stegasaurus. so now if i hear someone on the radio using it (usually jokingly) it always harkens me back.

At the "Whoa. Good Myth." site, in the episode summary for "Bushwacked", they referred to that game at the beginning of the ep as 'Calvinball'. Now even reading my Calvin & Hobbes books will remind me of Firefly.

the story on the Today show this morning about a guy who ran into a burning building to rescue three children, and then got arrested on unrelated outstanding warrants, inspiring a wave of outrage among the former denizens of the building and the neighbors.
