Bride2 ducks low as Jazaf swings over her head. From a crouch she leaps up at him, stabbing with her left practice weapon and swinging with her right. Jazaf dodges the thrust and almost parries the swing, which manages to lightly tap his left shoulder.
Bride2 lands gracefully nearby and stands up straight. She points with her left-hand weapon and laughs. “Ha! Gotcha!”
Suddenly, Jazaf rushes Bride2 and strikes upward, knocking her lightly held weapon out of her hand. In the same motion, he swings his own weapon around and down, extending his reach in an attempt to sweep Bride2’s legs from under her. Bride2 tries a series of backflips to get out of Jazaf’s reach, but he continues his advance, smacking her in mid-air. Dazed, she falls. A moment later, her knocked-away weapon clatters when it hits the floor.
“Never stop to gloat when your opponent is still able to oppose you,” Jazaf states calmly. He takes a step back and adopts a guarded stance, practice weapon held before him.
Bride2 grins as she rubs her sore side. “Right!” She slowly gets to her feet without taking her eyes from Jazaf. She switches her remaining weapon to her left hand and brushes strands of her red hair out of her eyes. “You’re good, Sensei, a lot better’n me. Even better’n Bride1. But I gotta warn ya, Sensei. I won’t stop! I’ll catch up! Someday, I’m gonna be the best!”

* Bride3 eyes the tables, chairs, and furnishings on her nearby bar. *
Less chance of breaking anything, that way.

I have posted the beginning of my epic summary of the Clubhouse / Treehouse / Sereni-Tree threads.

*piffle and lissa enjoy the jones soda experience while ath drinks his healthy orange juice and fortifies his already strong body with vitamins and minerals.

Wow! I haven't yet had the time to look over all the threads, but it's impressive! This will make my job easier when I finally get the time to download all the text and attempt to put it into a "book" for for us all (don't expect this any time soon...it's my plan -- doesn't mean it will get done!
