So what made you think of Firefly lately?

1) Getting pulled over by the alliance, er... police the other day. Had all kinds of comments about purple bellies and keeping cargo in the open going through my head while I presented my paperwork for inspection. The plastic dinosaurs and palm trees on the dashboard got a me strange look.
2)Shopping in the mall I found a loose brown tank top and my first thought was that all it needed was a Blue Sun logo.

We are not alone. It may be some sort of Joss brain washing. I don't know, but I like it.

It's a good thing your coworkers are understanding. Mine make fun of me when I call things "shiny." The other day somebody did tell a really stupid dirty joke and nobody was laughing cos it wasn't funny and I said, "Well that was creepifying." That got a laugh.

Everytime I put the key in the ignition of my truck and she fires right up: she's a collection of cheap parts, but she'll run forever 'cause I'm a mechanic that's half awake. (I'm telling you that MOPAR makes the Firefly class. The parts are all after-market and interchangeable. He%%, you can pick them up at junkyards, dust 'em off and plug 'em right in. Chrysler won't be around in 2517, but MOPAR'll keep right on cranking out high-performance stuff.)
Everytime it dawns on me that I need to find a job, 'cause the one I got is about done. Can't rely on luck, not ever.
Everytime I come home to my husband and he makes me laugh; everytime one of the guys I work with says something scathing about him. Most people don't get James and me at first glance...
James makes over my 'wife soup', never knows what's going to be in it, though.

I used to be in a band called Serenity that just became defunct right before the first episode of Firefly was aired.
We went to a place called Serenity Valley once and lately my friend has been bringing it up all the time!
Watching Nathan on Two Guys and a Girl everyday
Watching Eerie Indiana where the actor who plays Mayor Chisle is the same actor who plays that one guy's dad in Jaynetown

Happens to me pretty much all the time. I had to store my brown leather trench (yes, it was purchased solely because it looked like Mal's coat) since the weather has gotten pretty warm, and when I put it into the coat bag, I couldn't help but think of Firefly.
The other day I was watching a western and thought how cool would it be if Mal, Zoe, and Jane came out of the saloon and shot up those nasty bad guys.
*Sighs* I really miss Firefly.

Was just checking out news sites and saw the headline : 'Secret behind a firefly's glow revealed'. As the page was loading my first thought was, "Engine specs - shiney".

Okay, here's another one, happened on the way home tonight. The other day, it appears someone hit a deer on the road near my office in Buck's County, PA (and isn't that a bit of irony {D'OH!}). It STILL hasn't been picked up. I found myself thinking: "Someone really ought to collect that poor critter before it gets all corpsified and gross!"
Sigh.
