I'm guessing that AH was just talking about rumors (the part about straight to DVD never made sense to me, I mean they wouldn't make it if they weren't planning to run it on TV would they?!)....
I also long for some Buffyverse movie (for TV or otherwise) sometime soon, but all we ever seem to get are rumors.... :(
