I was in the audience at WonderCon when Joss denied ever seeing a handful of shows that have been claimed as "obvious influences" on his work; among them were Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, and (unfortunately) Blake's 7.

Of course, he also added that "Of all the shows I've never seen, Outlaw Star is my favorite." So it might be necessary to take his statement with a grain of salt.

It won't be long before I can say Angel- Not Fade Away. I watch that extremely often.

But for now my most watched thing is probably Disney's The Lion King. I watched that like every week as a kid. It never seemed to get old.

My movies: FifthElement, PrincessBride, and WingsofDesire (auf Deutsch).

Just out of fanatical interest, I'm reading this thread thinking, "Hey, here's a great way to get a list of new movies to see." so I start reading it over again and tabulating.

For the record, here are movies more than 3 browncoats have admitted to seeing a ridiculous amount of times:
SW,
LoTR,
ArmyofDarkness,
Buffy (various,*but not angel! oh how telling!),
HP,
MP,
PrincessBride,
Indiana, esp Raiders,
DS9,
Highlander,
Blakes7,
FifthElement,
BladeRunner,
GrossePointeBlank,
BlazingSaddles.

I for one, think this is an *fascinating* compilation with deep psychoanalytic consequences...

LadyHawke... I don't even know the number of times. I don't really have to watch it anymore either - I can just listen to the soundtrack and let the movie play out in my head.

The original three Star Wars movies and the “Special Editions”, I watched them constantly over the space of months.

Star Trek II. My VHS tape is almost kaput.

The Hunt for Red October, The Enemy Below and Flight of the Intruder. I watched these over and over for weeks for no real reason. I can almost recite them line-by-line and I speak random lines of dialog from my favorite scenes when I'm bored or cooking (I got to tape myself saying “My Morse is so rusty I might be sending him dimensions on playmate of the month” or “If that bastard so much as twitches I’m going to blow him right to Mars” when cooking macaroni and cheese its go to be high-larious.).

The original broadcast tape of Firefly I made. When I was moving (Packing boxes alone) I would leave it running in the background. It was great.

No, I've only actually had them for about a month - but (except for a few particularly hectic days) I've been watching like an episode a day - I've seen both seasons through twice in order (even the crap ones) and am now running through all my fave season 2 eps (I lent s1 to a friend - I may as well have given her my arm - sniff) anyhoo. yeah. Couldn't really say I'd watched it a ridiculous # of times yet because I haven't. I'm getting there though.

Slightly obsessed FLF.
