So, the special guests are plugging along. I got a strong maybe from one of them. She just had a baby a few months ago and isn't sure if she can get away.

I'm going to do my best to grab a few people's attention at comicon next week. I'm going to tell Dark Horse. See if they donate some comic books as give aways.

We've been emailing Fangirl through her profile for invitations. It's still on and set up for August 6 at Sebastians in Toluca Lake starting at 6 p.m. We have the room in the back with the TV.

14 Yes, +2 Guests
3 No, with Regrets -- they'll all be off the continent
1 Mebbe
8 No response (I expect 2 of them to reply this coming week, but I don't know which way)

These numbers are slightly different from what's on Evite, 'cause I've heard from a couple of folks who haven't responded through Evite.

Kathy, will 16 warm bodies fit in the back room @Sebastian's? How 'bout 24?

Sebastain's can hold 50 plus people in the back. After 30 though, it makes it difficult to play pool.

I'll be at comicon this week. I'm going to talk to Dark Horse and let them know we're doing a little shindig and see if they can do anything for us.

I met some people at the comicon and invited them as well. I look forward to seeing you all. I picked up the CD of the music at the con so I can play that for those who want to hear it.
