How bizarre - would think that Mer was my twin if it weren't for the fact that I already HAVE a twin sister .... I too have Buffy 1-6 and Angel - all but season 3 .... am feeling freaked ....

Buy Season 2, and do your best to stay unspoiled. It's my favorite season of BtVS by far! It got me hooked on Joss Whedon!

So, get it, and have a blast!

I like season 7, I'm just too lazy to go out and buy it right now (took me 2 yrs to get 1st season but got season 2 ASAP). It's a great difference between loving season 5&6 so on.

I'll eventually get it...just not right now. $60 per season can take a lot out of you if you buy more than one tv series. (Buffy/Angel is the most exp while others range around $20-40)

Lol I love your response ^_^

I've read a great deal about all the seasons, and I think I'm gonna buy S4 then S5, and probably stop there. From what I gather, 6 & 7 were the weakest seasons, and many on this board seem to feel it would have been better and more meaningful to end it at S5. Also Xander has so little screen time in S7, and he's my favourite character!
Any thoughts on that?

Don't mind dark endings Chrisisall

But if you stop at season 5 won't you be wondering what happens to all of the characters?

To be quite honest I was dying to know what happened to everyone after the season 5 finale, and personally, season 6 didn't disappoint.

It may be a little dark and depressing, but I was 14 when it was being shown on the tv, I I thoroughly enjoyed the season as a whole. There were some bad episodes, but there were a lot more bad episodes in season 4, which was a boring season in comparison.

I bought S1, and I thought I might stop there.
Then I bought S2, and I thought I might stop there.
Then I bought S3, and I thought I might stop there.
Do you see a pattern?
S4 in the next couple of weeks, my friends...

But I ain't gonna get Angel. David is no Nathan, I just don't like him very much. In fact I'm really hopin' to see Buffy get over him.

Personally, I find season 6 to be one of the very best seasons. And even people who don't like it have to admit that it contains one of the all-time greatest episodes, "Once More With Feeling" (the musical), which is in fact my personal favorite episode of the whole series.

I hear ya. Angel was a good series, but wasn't as good as Buffy. However, when I watched season 5 of Angel, things changed a great deal. Probably the second best full season of a Whedon series, (right behind Buffy s2) I was blown away. If you can rent or borrow the Angel series, the payoff is more than worth it.

Yea, you must buy season 6! "Once More With Feeling"! The Buffy musical! You must have Buffy musical! The Trio (Nemesises)! And the main villian! I'm not going to say who but boy won't that be one hell of a ending ^_^

Then season 7 which I think is full of hidden messages and stuff. I didn't get it, but I'm willing to buy it later on just to figure out how and why things went the way it did.
It's a fun season all due to Andrew ^-^ Oh and Nathan Fillion as the villian....god was he creepy.
